Le Mas des Sens - Charming gîte -

Le Mas des Sens is a 60 m² gîte, surrounded by nature, just 2 km from the centre of the village of Eymoutiers and 15 minutes from the lake and the island of Vassivière. Spread over two levels, it includes a kitchen area, a cosy living room, two bedrooms upstairs and a bathroom. The cottage is attached to our house, with no neighbours overlooking, and designed to ensure everyone's peace and quiet. It offers a real bubble of privacy, with its private terraces and garden facing the natural surroundings.

We look forward to welcoming you into the characterful 'Petit Manoir' in the heart of the Perigord Vert. Our extensive gardens are the perfect place to relax, or if you wish to venture further, there are plenty of walks from the front door. The charming wing includes a master bedroom on the first floor with adjoining pigeonnier for use as study or extra bedroom, while the ground floor comprises a spacious bathroom with walk-in shower, kitchen, open plan living/dining room and an exercise room.

Relax in our cosy stone cottage in a rural hamlet in the Millevaches "Dark Sky" natural park. Private parking, fenced garden, BBQ and outside dining, bike shed and motorbike garage. The large double bed is 180x200cm. Small swimming lake with beach 5 mins/4km, and the magnificent Lac de Vassivière 25 kms. Good walks and cycle rides from the door on quiet lanes and paths amid rolling hills and woods. The living space has two sofas, a kitchen with dishwasher, and a dining area. Dogs welcome.

From 1/07/26 to 30/08/26, free entry to the municipal swimming pool (2 km).

Ideally located 10 minutes from Lake Bariousses, 15 minutes from Treignac and 30 minutes from Lake Vassivière; you can enjoy on-site tennis activities, walks in the forest or along the river, at no extra cost. You can also fish in the pond (hours and rates on carpodrome.fr).

Station lamp post

You will sleep in the former lamp storehouse of the Pérols-sur-Vézère train station. You will have a view of our garden, the sheep certainly, the chickens as well as the rails. These small regional trains stop 10 times a day and do not run at night. This small habitat has been completely renovated with salvaged materials. The stone walls are original and therefore restored with cement and lime mortar.
