Treat yourself to a break from everyday life and immerse yourself in the beautiful nature of the Palatinate Forest! Our cosy log cabin is idyllically situated on the edge of the forest near Blankenborn – very close to the historic spa town of Bad Bergzabern. The comfortable living area and the south-facing terrace with an outdoor seating area offer a fantastic view and invite you to relax and enjoy. In the two separate bedrooms, you will find relaxing retreats, each with a comfortable double bed.

The Donathütte at Schluchsee

Relax in this charming rustic mountain hut and enjoy the simple life. You will heat the place with a wood-fired oven (you will need to chop the wood yourself). 500m from the lake at the end of a private road and 1km from the trainstation. Bring everything you need for your stay and leave no traces. Important: Be aware that it is your responsibility to clean the hut before checking out and prepare everything for the next guests. Additional fee, Parabel in cash: Tourist tax- 3€ per night/person.

Our cabin is located in remote meadows at 900 m above sea level. From the village and the infrastructure so familiar to us all, you are still only 15 minutes away. The beautiful Lake Constance and the high mountains in the rear Bregenz Forest connect directly to the low mountain location. At the hut, our family and guests enjoy the enchanting tranquility. The conversations by the fire invite you to reflect and the children lose themselves in their fantastic worlds around the witch's house.

The approximately 400-year-old farmhouse, which is located at almost 700 meters above sea level, was partially renovated in 2019. The rustic base was skillfully combined with modern elements. The house is ideally furnished for family vacations of up to 6 people. Of course, groups, couples and individuals are also very welcome. The house impresses with a spacious swing which is kept very close to nature. For children, there are various play options in and around the house.

The nearest town with restaurants and supermarkets is only a few minutes away. Electricity and running water are available. This is thoroughly purified rainwater, not drinking water. Drinking water can be obtained from a tap about 500 meters away. The cabin is self-sufficient except for electricity.
