You are warmly welcome to stay at Kulkurien Kämppä, where Saimaa opens directly behind the window. In this cabin, you can see the sunrises from the best spot and you can admire when Saimaa becomes quiet at night. You will also be able to follow the dizzying flight of birds up close and perhaps see a pair of swans flying near the cabin. (NOTE: The cabin in the picture will be moved to another location in the spring of 2025 and will be replaced by two new similar cabins. Don't be confused by the photos, they will change as soon as I get new photos of the new cabins!)

Close to the disc golf course. Here you will experience wonderful sunsets and you may spot a Saimaa reindeer. Perfect destination for those who appreciate nature, tranquility and comfort, suitable for families with children.

Beach sauna on the shore of Lake Saimaa

Looking for the perfect escape from everyday life? A small lakeside sauna awaits on the shore of Lake Saimaa, where there is space for two and there is a small pot mat. The cottage has a small kitchen for spinning calories. The traditional wood sauna gets the best steam, and the carrying water comes straight from Lake Saimaa. You can fish from your own beach and in the evening you can roast sprats on a bonfire. Kayaks, fishing gear, hot tub and husky tours available at an additional cost. All this only 12 km from the city!

Our PihaMummola is an idyllic and authentic granny in the courtyard of a functioning organic dairy farm. Here you can get to know the life of the farm, milking and taking care of the animals if you want. Our farm's cows include gentle individuals and, among other things, all Finnish cattle breeds. In addition to the main building, Mummolan's rent includes a separate lakeside sauna. Waterways and magnificent forest areas dominate the region, but in Mummol you can also easily explore the lively summer village of Lohilahti.

In the Sointula cottage, you will spend a pleasant holiday relaxing on the shores of Lake Saimaa. The cottage is located in the municipality of Taipalsaari in the peace of the countryside. Sointula is a two-storey winterized cottage with a beautiful lake view from the upper floor and terrace. The cottage has its own gentle beach with a hard gravel bottom. You can also swim from the dock. There is a rowing boat and life jackets. Many guests are excited about fishing because they have had a good catch.

Unique Villa by the Lake

The new, fully equipped villa is situated in a tranquil location on the shore of the clear and pristine Lake Kuolimo. It is the perfect place to escape from everyday life and enjoy nature. The main building is located on top of a hill, and almost every window offers beautiful lake views. Along the shoreline, there is also a separate sauna building. The villa is suited for families or small groups. Parties or other big catherings are not allowed. The stated number of guests must not be exceeded.

Peace and harmony at Pikkumökki-cottage

Pikkumökki-cottage is a cosy, traditional log cottage with a magnificent view over the lake Saimaa. The cottage has an open common area (livingroom and kitchenette) and a sleeping alcove. Sauna is in the same building with an own entrance. There is no shower, but you wash yourself with a refreshing lakewater. There is no watertoilet, but traditional dry eco toilet in a separate building. A big terrace and a grill for barbeque. There is a small bungalow next to the cottage, with beds for two.

Atmospheric apartment in a wooden house

Welcome to a warm, atmospheric apartment as part of an old log building. The house is located in the Far East, under the paper mill pipes. The apartment is small, but compact and has everything you need. The car is free in the yard and the bus runs right next door. The neighborhood is nice and peaceful. Warmly welcome. Warm cozy studio with two single beds, lovely kitchen and bathroom with shower. In a location that is a short drive from the beautiful town and harbour of Lappeenranta.

The Äitsaari is famous of its cycling tours through the island. The island will challenge everyone in its mountaneous road profile. You can also fish in the Lake Saimaa. If fancied, it is not forbidden to just relax and enjoy the lakeside sauna and swimming in the clean freshwater lake :)
