Monthly Rentals in Tauhara Forest

The place was great - spacious, tidy, and has pretty much everything we needed. Nice side of town, close to 2 Mile Bay (the Sailing Club is worth a visit!). Check in and out was easy. John's communication was prompt and helpful. Would recommend.

We stayed overnight to break a drive from Wellington to Auckland , and it was a good choice. We had bikes on the back, so it was nice to be safe and sound on a rural property and not in town. The weather was sadly awful , but Chantelle has done a nice job of providing a comfortable and cosy space , with absolutely everything you could need. The bed and linen are comfortable , and we appreciated the breakfast which allowed us to get on the road early.

This place is extremely peaceful and private while being only a short drive from the centre of Taupo. Paula and Dean were wonderful hosts; very thoughtful indeed! There were lots of little touches that made our stay more comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Kirstin’s place was clean, spacious, and easy to check into. She was a very responsive and thoughtful host – she let us know upfront about some ongoing construction, which didn’t bother us, so we were happy to go ahead with the booking. The location is super convenient, just an 8–10 minute drive from Taupo’s CBD. One of the lovely touches was the backyard greenhouse, where we could pick fresh fruit and veggies – the tomatoes were especially delicious! There were even e-bikes available for us to use, which we didn’t get around to, but such a great perk to have. The bed was incredibly comfy, and the heating/air con made it extra cosy. We had a great night’s sleep and a really lovely stay. Thanks so much for hosting us!
