The house looks exactly like the photos, has all amenities listed as well as extra activities in the estate. Chrissie provided clear instruction how to get to the estate, check in details as well as offering her assistance if required.

Elephant Point and the Mavalanga Lodge are amazing. The pictures do not reflect the beauty of the place, the facilities and the comfort of the development. You are effectively in nature. We spotted the pool zebras, elephants, antelopes, hippopotamos, but the best was for the last day. ... we spotted a leopard about 50 to 70 meters from the house .. unbelievable. The staff is sensational... before arrival (by email) at check in and during the stay Patience was extraordinary, as was the housekeeping (I think it pronounces Niele). The house is exceptional... complete kitchen, comfortable rooms, beautiful decor, a room with pool table, screen and even a gym, which left the children entertained at all times. The pscina view to the river is phenomenal. Finally, a thank you to our driver/ranger, Pete, who has eagle eyes... we spotted the BiG FIVE and many more animals in the game drive with him. Definitely want to come back. Note 1000000

From the moment we as 4 couples walked in - till the day we left - this place felt like home. Everything is available - the top living area is spacious to accommodate 8 adults and 2 lounge areas and braai area, the kitchen is well stocked, the 4 separate ensuite bedrooms spacious. The walking trails are gorgeous and the view to dream about! We went cycling for 3 days and 1 day's golf and running - a true gem! Thank you Ronelle for giving your home to us!!!

A Home away from Home…..very nice house, clean , comfortable and well equipped. The wildlife !!!! It was a very incredible experience especially for the kids. The location is quiet and relaxing. The entire family had an amazing time……Thank you Lee is an amazing host, this is a 10 star house

This was our second time at Heysbrook for our annual family breakaway and it did not disappoint! The lodge is stunning - beautifully decorated, luxurious and has everything you need. The staff are also amazing and the fact that the lodge is fully serviced is such an added bonus! The hikes are also stunning and our family loved the historic archives and information available about the original settlers. We will be back again next year for sure ♥️

We weren’t ready for this. You read of amazing places and then you get there…. And sometimes when you get there they exceed your wildest expectations… this is one of those situations. From the spectacular setting with breathtaking views. An extremely well appointed kitchen to friendly staff that accommodates their guests around every corner. When can we visit again !?

The place looked very beautiful the pictures don't do justice to it Animals would just come to visit the house especially in the morning just imagine eating breakfast outside the patio and you looking at Buffalos grazing All in all it was a great place to be in we would do it again if needs be the place was beautiful and peaceful The house helpers were also very friendly and helpful we enjoyed our 4 days stay at the Bush house

Bakoni Forest Lodge is a great place to enjoy with friends or Family members.. The surroundings is beautiful and you hear the river flow while sitting next to the bonfire at night. The staff was super friendly and the service was 5star. We will definitely be returning in the summer to enjoy the beautiful swimming pool and surroundings to hike to the waterfall. Thank you Debbie and Gerald you made our stay one for the Books to remember!
