Cabin holiday rentals in Ticino

We had a truly wonderful stay at Ca Pedrot! The cabin is super cozy, we loved the sauna, and the views are fantastic. We loved the little touches like nice bed linens and towels and luxury soaps. There's an extensive range of pots/pans, cooking utensils, etc. The cabin has plenty of privacy. It's also is on a nice snowshoe path, for winter visits. We were particularly impressed by Andy, the host, who was super communicative, got the fire going in the wood stove for us because we were arriving in the evening, gave us pointers for using the cable car and finding the cabin in the dark. True hospitality! Can't wait to go back.

We had a really nice time at the chalet. There was nothing missing. Luana was a very good host. She always responded very quickly to inquiries and was very accommodating and helpful. Thank you very much Luana :)

Exceptional host, exceptional place! We loved our stay in Wild Field Lodge and, as hosts ourselves, greatly appreciated the thoughtful amenities available throughout the property. We are a family of 4 with 2 kids under 5, and so it’s tricky to find accommodations that are actually relaxing, let alone loaded with toys and kid entertainment. This place is serene, fun, well equipped, and beautiful. The host’s communication and generosity were outstanding. You can feel the love invested in this property, and that makes for a very special life experience. Highly recommend!

Our flight was delayed and after a quick call explaining we would not arrive until late hours, we were reassured that the building would be all ready and they even popped the lights on for us to help find our way in the dark. Amazing spot. I visited many years ago and it was just as perfect as I remember.

The cottage is really adorable and Sarah is a great host. The staircase to the pointed gable is not for children and disabled people. The Swedish stove in the living room is great. The kitchen utensils are a bit outdated but are available for 2 people.

My husband and I spent a week with our two dogs in this magnificent place! It was like immersing ourselves in a world away from everything and everyone, a place that remained pristine. The sun is present from 9 am to 7 pm and the view of the mountains is a real spectacle. Every day we were able to observe families of deer from the window of the room. The house is golden of everything useful, in the kitchen, in the bathroom and in the bedroom. Ability to grill and pizza in the wood-fired oven. Gianni was immediately nice and helpful. He gave us a lot of activity ideas in the area and was available throughout the vacation. We're SO pumped to have discovered this corner of World. We hope to be back soon!

We found this hidden gem in the middle of nowhere and it‘s the perfect cozy stay before / after a long hike. Jana provided us with the option to get dinner and breakfast in the restaurant next door and the homemade and freshly cooked food was just amazing. We cannot recommend this place enough! We‘ll definitely be back to try more hikes nearby and enjoy the beautiful nature. Thanks a lot Jana & Joel

It was a dreamlike experience - truly a place I could only dream about. Absolutely private, silent, and secluded - we spent New Year's Eve there and didn’t see a single person around. The views, the silence, the mountains - everything was perfect. The hosts, Joe and Kya, were amazing. Super friendly, helpful, and responsive. They even helped carry our belongings up the mountain before check-in and back to the car on the morning of January 1st (!). Such kind people! I cannot fail to mention the heartwarming welcome pack with food, sweets, wine, and even treats for our dog, which made us feel so welcome. Even though we visited early in the season, we had so much fun sledding, hiking (with our dog everywhere), relaxing in the cozy house, and enjoying the sauna - followed by jumping into the snow afterward. So you have a lot to do :) Highly recommend it to anyone looking to escape the hustle and truly enjoy the mountains!

We felt very comfortable. Anna was always available for questions. Check-in and check-out were great through the hotel next door. Everything very clean, beautifully modern and with attention to detail... quiet surroundings, supermarket, bakery within 15 minutes' walk. Also 5 minutes away is a very delicious cheese factory. Excursion destinations such as Lugano, Locarno, Como, Ascona and even Milan are less than 2 hours away. Passageways were also easy to drive in winter.

We had a great stay at Robertas lovely mountain house! Will definitely stay again.

Very nice, well-kept rustico in a quiet location with great views. Unfortunately, we had bad luck with the weather, but from the house you can take great hikes. Merci to Fabio and Bernadette for the hospitality.

Staying in this house is like a gift to me – it is an experienced piece of home away from home. We will come back :)

Perfect place to disconnect from reality! We were 2 adult with our 3 kids (8,6,2 months). The big kids played all day outside (there are swings and a lot of space to run around). They were not bored one second, always exploring the beautiful nature. Inside the house everything was very clean and nothing was missing. We had really everything we needed. Make sure you do the shopping ahead so you do not have to go down again (35 min one way).

Great typical Swiss chalet in lovely landscape

The place was beautiful and the location completely peaceful and in nature. We were a group of 5 people and we thoroughly enjoyed our time in the chalet. We cooked meals there, played boardgames. It was a really nice experience and Eveline was so friendly to correspond with - answering all my questions. The only thing I will say about the place (that shouldn't deter you from booking) is that it is a 30-40 min climb up. So if you are doing the climb with provisions and you have a heavy pack, it can take longer and require quite a good level of fitness. Also, another tip is to try and reach the chalet in the day. We did the climb in the rain, approaching twilight and the chalet was hard to spot (low light). You can opt for a helicopter which is affordable. We plan to come back over summer and use the helicopter for all our heavy stuff!

Peaceful and idyllic setting. Well equipped chalet with all necessities accessible by a driveable road and a dirt road. Nadia is a helpful host who helped us with our luggage and transport the cage of our parrot as my car was too low for the path to the cottage. Nadia's only neighbor was welcoming and offered us plums from her trees. The cheese and sausage from the farm are excellent. We spent 4 days with our 2 dogs and parrot peaceful and relaxing in the heart of nature.

This was our first time in Switzerland and Ivan's house was perfect to feel right at home while on vacation. Amazing views of the Swiss Alps and near major attractions. Ivan's house had all the amenities plus more for a stay away from home including toys for kids and a full kitchen.

Fabio, was a great host. His rustica is charming and in a fantastic location to escape into the mountains. Excellent entertainment from the neighbouring Marmots, and stunning sunsets. The chalet but has just the right amount of the basics to make it authentic, comfortable and practical. Great, thanks. James
