Not enough space to say how perfect this place was! Quiet, peaceful, spacious, clean, loaded with amenities, tastefully decorated, uncluttered, and inviting. The kitchen is well equipped, and the two fireplaces added to the restful ambiance. Just a very short walk to the beach which never had anyone on it!!!. One of the few places on the west coast where you can have a fire on the beach and although not directly next to the surf you can constantly hear it from the house. Having the outdoor gas BBQ is a bonus (although we never used it), and the surround garden is so pretty and peaceful. Ample off street parking for 3 vehicles. There is even an outside spigot to wash off those sandy feet and toys. The house is adjacent to the Oregon Park's "Sitka Sedge", one of the best hiking trails in the area which gives new meaning to the term "enchanted forest". Kayakers will enjoy Whalen Island recreation area just 1 mile from the house; just be sure to check the tide charts! Just perfect!

Wonderful as usual. A peaceful stay and the beautiful ocean was only a block away.

I appreciate the instructions and the response time! We almost had to cancel Or shift our reservation due to snow and Joe & Tracy were understanding and compassionate! The house was perfect! Down a quiet street. I asked for a recommendation for dinner and one of the choices was Riverhouse & it did not disappoint! The Woodstove was such a plus and so sweet to provide wood for it! We loved having a place the dogs can come and be as well. Thanks for such a sweet space. It’s great for 2 ppl but definitely worth it if you have like 6 ppl. Would come back again !

This was a fun home. Responsive host. I have young kids and made the separate bedrooms work with the couches. The beach is perfect walkable distant. They should include coffee and sugar! We have stayed at a few Kiwanda coastal homes and can only afford a weekend in the winter. This home had plenty of space for the kids to play while it rained.
