The Old Painter‘s House, Ferienhaus am Wasser

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus mit großem Garten in direkter Wasserlage am Kanal mit traumhaften Blick in die ostfriesische Landschaft. Das Haus wurde umfassend saniert und renoviert. Wichtig war uns dabei, den ursprünglichen Charakter beizubehalten und diesen mit heutigem Wohnkomfort zu verbinden. Regionalität, Nachhaltigkeit und Individualität waren unser Kompass. Am Rande des historischen Dorfkerns in ruhiger Lage, nur einen Katzensprung zum Deich, zum Hafen und zur Fähre nach Ditzum.

We are offering this cosily furnished upstairs apartment, which was completely renovated in 2023. Ideal for two people, no children, no pets. The bathroom is equipped with underfloor heating, hairdryer, shower and shampoo, the kitchen even with a dishwasher. The infrared sauna offers pure relaxation, as does the garden terrace Within walking distance, there is a small wood with a pond, and the East Frisian Way hiking trail runs right alongside our farm. Enjoy the peace and quiet in this spacious, clay-plastered accommodation. This apartment with its own entrance, large garden and terrace is a natural recreational oasis with a natural design, warming light, which results from the clay plaster and large windows. The gallery gives the apartment a spacious feeling with views of the dike and river. A pellet stove supplies the wall and underfloor heating and at the same time gives even more coziness through its warming flame.

Gut Winkel, arrive and feel good

Our apartment was completed in 2019 and is located on the 1st floor on Gut Winkel, the oldest surviving farm in the municipality of Apen. Very high quality and lovingly furnished, it can accommodate up to 4 people on 120 square meters. If the 25 sqm roof terrace is not enough for you, the use of the garden is of course allowed. As well as exploring the entire farm. We live here together with our dogs, horses and cats and look forward to seeing you soon!

The light-flooded living area is furnished with a fully equipped kitchen. At the spacious dining table there is enough space for all guests and you can enjoy the view of the lake. A private lounge corner invites you to linger. Outdoor shower!

The listed house was extensively renovated in 2020/21 with a lot of love. The tastefully furnished house has lost none of its charm and originality. Witnesses to its old age are the original parquet and plank floors in the living rooms and bedrooms and terrazzo floors in the kitchen. The house is very carefully furnished with beautiful softwood antiques. In sunshine, life takes place outside on the terrace in the enclosed garden.

The approximately 60 m² attic apartment is located in a well-kept, listed townhouse in the city center of Aurich. The pedestrian zone as well as sports facilities with De Baalje or the harbor area are within walking distance. Close to shopping (food, drugstore). The proximity to the coast and the swimming lake Tannenhausen are perfect for day trips. The apartment was newly expanded and equipped in 2015/2016.
