Holiday rentals with beach access in Tortola

This is the perfect location for a very peaceful and restful stay on Tortola. The host was really good at communicating both before and throughout our stay. One minor issue with the bathroom basin plug was resolved straight away. The garden area, pool and small beach were all delightful, though loungers could do with an upgrade (a very minor matter). Fall asleep and wake to the sound of the sea and if you’re really lucky watch a pelican fishing right in front of you. We saw it most mornings and late afternoons during our stay. Probably best to have a hire car available though taxis easy to organise. We also used the local bus service, which was ‘an experience’, one I’m glad we had. Would we go back? It’s a very long way from Europe! But we both really enjoyed our stay and, though not as young as we used to be, would love to come again. We had some important communications to make during our stay and excellent WiFi enabled us to do it. Thanks Justin and all the staff.

True Blessings was exactly that. We felt right at home right away. Laurel was very responsive to our inquiries. Plenty of room, beautiful deck area, close to supermarkets, restaurants and beaches. Relaxing area just around the corner from the busy Cruz Bay Area.

I can't say enough great things about this apartment, Alex as a host and St. John in general! The photographs don't do the apartment justice, it's so beautiful and there were even fresh local flowers waiting for us. It has a very opulent feel while still being very comfortable; it had everything we needed and then some. Alex worked with us on our arrival (several delays on our side) and met us in Cruz bay to personally show us to the apartment. Very responsive and was a pleasure to work with.

Absolutely loved my stay at this Airbnb on Tortola! The unit was impeccably clean, thoughtfully designed, and perfectly equipped with everything I needed, from a full kitchen to cozy outdoor seating. I left the doors open while I was there to take advantage of the lovely breeze. And while the unit has air conditioning O didn’t turn it on until I went to bed. The host was incredibly kind, responsive, and full of local tips that made my trip extra special. Whether you’re looking to relax or adventure, this place is a perfect home base while you’re on Tortola.

We can't say enough great things about staying at Jen's place. We loved having access to the salt pond that led out to a small beach cove where we paddle boarded and snorkeled everyday. The location is great and being right outside of Cruz Bay felt a bit more peaceful, while also only being a 5 minute drive to groceries and restaurants. Jen and Ryan were also wonderful hosts, super friendly and very hospitable. They had everything we needed from restaurant recommendations, to kayaks and paddle boards, and even a bottle of wine when we arrived! By far one of our favorite airbnb stays and we can't wait to come back!

What a great place to stay - close to in my opinion some of the best beaches on the island (Salt Pond Bay, Little Lameshur Bay), plenty of amenities (towels, beach chairs, cooler, kitchen supplies), and a balcony for viewing the wildlife in the morning and stars at night. Amber and Jeremy were also great hosts - responsive, provided detailed check-in/check-out information, and let us in on some great local recommendations. Would definitely stay again! 5/5 stars.

Our stay at the Little Lagoon was absolutely incredible! I loved waking up each morning and strolling down to the pebble beach to watch the sunrise. The accommodations were perfect for our family of five - two adults and three teenagers - and the kitchen was well-equipped for all the meals we prepared there. We absolutely adored the natural setting, especially the garden and the adorable family of ducks. Ernest and Donna were the best hosts ever - they were so responsive and gave us some fantastic suggestions and tips. We can’t wait to come back soon!

Henry was very helpful in the weeks before our arrival and his co-host Aaisha met us in person to provide an orientation. We enjoyed our week there. It’s within walking distance of grocery stores, restaurants, taxi stands, and ferries to the surrounding islands. The apartment is furnished well, has a/c in the bedrooms, and an east-facing veranda which admits a refreshing breeze all day. There’s a great view of the adjacent marina where bareboat charters are available.

Karen and Nigel are gracious hosts that go above and beyond. They have created a relaxing, welcoming home for your stay. Words that come to mind : Convenient but feels remote, breathtaking views (high enough to look into the bay but still feel connected to the action), extra extra clean and immaculate, perfect house layout, caring and attentive hosts, luxurious, concrete-walled quietness, safe and secure. Safety is so important to us. Their home was built with love and hard work, and it shows! A true tropical heaven!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in St. John. Isa was so friendly and welcoming, always offering helpful recommendations and suggestions. She always made sure we had everything we need. Her home is beautiful and was the perfect place to stay on the island. The place was peaceful and her artwork was stunning. We would absolutely come back and stay here again. Thanks Isa!

Great spot only minutes from Cruz Bay. There’s a single parking spot that takes a little work to fit into but it’s sufficient. Good house for our family of 4 (2 teens). GREAT views from the back deck for morning coffee and evening cocktails. Would suggest darker curtains in the bedrooms as the current ones don’t keep out any light. Bed linens could be upgraded. Host was very responsive and easy to contact.

From start to finish we had a wonderful time at this home. Book VI provided a link to share with our group with the list of helpful pointers and recommendations from restaurants, beaches to shopping. The place was beautiful and well appointed and had comfortable beds too. We enjoyed using the beach chairs, snorkeling gear and the SUP while there. They had coolers too which came in handy for our beach outings. This place was about 15 min or so from Cruz Bay and grocery stores were nearby too. If you are looking for a beautiful place to stay near Cruz Bay and enjoy seeing the stars, stay here. I highly recommend staying here.

Breakfast tacos on the covered patio was a wonderful break from the wedding festivities at Long Bay Beach resort. Fresh flowers were a lovely greeting. The air conditioners worked quickly! We were bid goodbye by a beautiful view of a double rainbow over the bay from the upstairs bedroom balcony on our last morning. The stairs made getting to and from the resort for wedding activities a breeze. Thank you, Sophie!

A stunning location with gorgeous views, this house is an absolute gem! Thank you, Eileen, for all of your local recommendations, responsiveness to all of my questions (we had a lot!), and for sharing your beautiful home with us. Perched on a hill and down a very unassuming road you find this oasis with ocean breezes, sounds of nature, and all of the necessities you could need. Perfect for my family of four, with two young kids. While the location is "on the other side of the island," we didn't mind the drive to Coral Bay or to the main beach area (Trunk, Maho)--- there was so much scenery to take in! We appreciated the beach chairs and towels, along with cooler bags, to make those trips easy. We also loved the beaches near the house, along with hiking the Ram Head Trail. The beds were super comfortable, we slept beautifully. We used the loft and the AC made for an easy sleep. Thank you so much, we will be back!

Shira’s place is exactly as described. It is very much like local living, simple yet comfortable. It was exactly what we were looking for.

This property is exactly as pictured and beautiful with new furnishings and decor. Nora has even created some of the art in the home. Nora is helpful, picked us up and dropped us off from the ferry and offered rides and a beach day. She’s a wealth of information and extremely helpful and kind.

Do not hesitate! Book Jonathan’s place! It was perfection! In an optimal location on the best part of the island! Smuggler’s Cove ended up being our favorite beach (and the best snorkeling!) and we felt very fortunate to have it so close. Walking distance to Long Bay’s bar and restaurant, which were beautiful and delicious. The views from the house cannot be beat! If we ever end up back on Tortola, we will absolutely stay here again!

This was our 2nd time staying in St John. This visit we brought our 6 & 4 year old with us! Stacey’s unit was everything we needed! The front desk concierge were so friendly. We actually arrived before check in and used their bathroom so we could immediately go to the beach. They offered to hold our luggage but we just kept it in our jeep rental until check in! We jumped in the pool every day, walked to dinner and ice cream every night. Her unit has a great parking spot right by the pool and elevator. Her locker of beach gear was useful for Long Beach days. The unit itself was so clean, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make breakfasts and lunches. The washer and dryer in the unit worked great. The beach cooler and beach towels were an added bonus for our stay! I would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking to travel to St. John! From beginning to end Shan was responsive and helpful. I text him when we left the airport and we were met by a gentleman who opened up the condo. The place was immaculate. Bathrooms very clean. A/C wall units were on and it was nice and cool when we got in. There is a cute porch with a table and 4 chairs outside. Not a great view of the water but peaceful surroundings. Would have loved a couple of lounge chairs but it didn’t really matter…we just brought out two more chairs and had bfast outside. We swam in the pool which was nice and clean also. Very happy with the accommodations and if we find ourselves in Tortola again I wouldn’t hesitate to reach out again.

Flamingo House is a great spot in Cruz Bay with lovely sunset views. Walkable to town, but that hill is seriously no joke. The Coco suite is perfect for a solo traveler or couple. I could see how renting out the whole place with a large group would also be fun. Will stay again.

Great stay! Excellent location very walkable to town and taxi stand for easy transport to beaches, etc. Host was very responsive and helpful. I had Starfish Market deliver food ahead of time so we walked into a stocked kitchen. We had a minor maintenance issue during our stay and Tracy was very responsive. Pool deck is gorgeous, photos didn’t do it justice. Beautiful pool and hot tub with views of Cruz Bay!

Anna-Kaye’s condo was exactly what we wanted! It’s on a beautiful secluded beach with access to the Wyndham Resort amenities that’s located next door. Beautiful sunsets and sun rises each day. The condo is exactly as pictured and only steps from the beach. Michele was our local host and made sure we had everything we need to enjoy our stay. She arranged for pickup and drop off to the airport, provided us with a car rental, answered all our questions and provided numerous suggestions. Having a car, we traveled all over Tortola and did day trips to St John, Virgin Gorda, Jost Van Dyke, Peter Island and Norman Island. Perfect condo, already planning a return trip!
