Our second-floor hideaway is the perfect perch for exploring downtown Wilmington and nearby beaches! Located in one of Wilmington's most sought-after neighborhoods, and popular with the film industry as a shooting location, this area is rich in film and television history! This one-bedroom with a dedicated office, efficiency kitchen, and mid-century modern bathroom is nestled in the upstairs back corner of our historic home, circa 1910, steps from the Cargo District, & a short walk to downtown!

Wilmington's "Jungle Room"

We would like to extend a warm Southern welcome to all of our Guests staying in Wilmington's "Jungle Room." The separate Guest room is set in a beautiful tropical garden full of interesting and fascinating plants-palms, staghorn ferns, colorful bromeliads, and many more. One of our hobbies is propagating these plants because of their beauty and overall dramatic effect. If we've done it right, you can easily imagine you are in a tropical rain forest right here in Southeastern NC!

Quiet Carriage House in Wilmington.

When staying at the Carriage House, the beach and Wilmingtons' attractions are yours for the taking. The Carriage House is located in the Princess Place Neighborhood, next to Burnt Mill Creek -a bird watchers paradise. It is 1.5 miles to Downtown Wilmington and the Riverwalk and 7 miles to the Beach. I have crafted the Carriage House from reclaimed materials. Enjoy the guest hot tub and fire table. Snowbirds and travel nomads know that Wilmington is wonderful year round!

The Petite Pelican is a Tiny Home located in the bustling pier area of Holden Beach. The Petite Pelican provides easy access for sunbathing, shell collecting, beautiful sunset views, and walks on the beach with a public access right in your backyard. One parking spot on the lot is included with your stay and daily paid parking is available in the adjacent lot for families with more than one vehicle.
