we used the cabin for 3 days of Ice Age trail hiking and it was perfect. very comfortable, well located for our needs, a great place to come back to after remote and strenuous hiking. highly highly recommend.

The wood river retreat is a beautiful place to stay. Doug is an excellent host, very welcoming & helpful. Everything was perfect from the sauna, the cabin & the beautiful outdoors. It’s a go to home for a relaxing getaway from the city.

Charming upper floor apartment in quaint downtown. (Busy traffic during the day but quiet at night.) nice deck and lots of afternoon sun! Unfortunately just there one night and didn’t get to try the recommended restaurants but they looked good and were within walking distance with plenty of chain restaurants within a quick drive. It’s a great spot with easy access off 35w.
