This place is so so special. Book it and you will not regret it! The cabin is very clean. The grounds feel very safe, private and secluded on the property. The sounds of the creek, and birds really add to the peacefulness of the escape. The add ons are well worth it and look like someone really cared and took their time to prepare for you. This was a surprise for boyfriend’s birthday and he was so happy and felt right at home. Grateful The bathroom was very clean but is about 40feet away out doors so pack a comfy warm robe, slides and a lantern or flashlight (to light the way) in case you need to quickly go in the middle of the night. I liked the experience of it being outside overall. Fire pit and grill seemed easy to work. The hosts are super responsive. If you want to sleep in a little I’d recommend an eye mask as the cabin brings in lots of natural light as the sun rises. We loved our stay and will absolutely be back for a longer stay!

Stayed in this cozy cabin for a chill Bachelorette weekend! It was the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and relax. The views were phenomenal, especially from the hot tub, which was a big seller for us. As other reviews mentioned, it is very close to the Apple House, which we went to twice - once for breakfast and once for lunch. We also enjoyed getting pizza delivered from Anthony's Pizza. Its location was also perfect for visiting Chester Gap Winery and riding horses at Royal Horseshoe Farm. Finally, though a bit of a drive, we enjoyed the Bluegrass Bruch at Patty O's. We were a group of four and while on the smaller side, the cabin was just enough space for us and had everything we desired. Would definitely stay here again. Truly a great stay with communicative hosts!

Jordan was a very helpful and responsive host, offering local recommendations and answering any questions we had. The cabin was very cozy and located in such a beautiful area, and we’d love to stay again sometime!

I planned to propose to my girlfriend over a romantic farm and Shenandoah getaway weekend. Andrea was very excited and helped make the weekend really special. The grounds were amazing and so beautiful with trails to take walks on and many animals to see. We brought our puppy and we had plenty of space to safely let him off leash to run around. He had as much fun as we did (and we got engaged!) Her restaurant recommendations were spot on, so definitely give those a try. We did the farm tour on the last day, and it was so personal, interactive and informative. Do not skip the tour!!! Andrea was so kind and generous with us. We cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Enjoyed my stay. Definitely need more than a day to be able to enjoy the resort. Reservation staff were extremely sweet and helpful. Very peaceful and homey.

This property is great! The locations is convenient to the local area and wineries but feels so peaceful and private. The outdoor areas and hot tub are nice and the house was clean, very spacious, and well appointed.

A quiet, peaceful few days away with the family and dog. Morning coffee on the deck and evening sunset walks. Board games and quiet time to unwind. Fun grounds to explore. And very close to drive to fun breweries and Middleburg places to hang out if you want someone else to cook. Overall a very relaxing few days .

The house was really nice and a great place to stay! Having the lake directly across the street was really nice to wake up to. The hot tub was such a nice amenity to have, and it was a "proper" hot tub! We would love to stay here again!

Our family of 9 spent a week here, and couldn't be happier. Our groups ages spread from 12 to 84, and every one of us had a great time. However beautiful this home and lake look in the photos - it is even more so in person. We had a blast kayaking and paddleboarding, and took a few day trips to the state park, battlefields, and monticello. We spent our mornings having coffee in the beautiful sunroom and evenings with wine overlooking the sunset on the lake. Fred and Gette were extremely accommodating when we realized how close we were to our aunt and added her on for Easter dinner at the last minute. Great communication as well - it was really just a wonderful experience all around.

The setting and the log cabin were absolutely beautiful as described. James was a wonderful host and had everything we needed. We actually never needed to contact him. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a place to just relax and enjoy the beauty. There were lots of nice places to eat in the areaas well as recreation. Thank you for everything.

We loved our experience at John’s cabin! It was so incredibly peaceful - our host could not have been more friendly & helpful, even on a holiday weekend, the woods were beautiful surrounding the lovely cabin on a hill, and the beds were comfy. We definitely wished we were staying longer than a weekend!

There was an unexpected maintenance issue at this property the day of arrival but Matt went above and beyond temporarily having us stay at another one of their properties, both of which were clean, beautiful, and with excellent views and amenities. Incredible deal overall myself and my group were all super happy we were able to stay here

The Grape Escape was the peaceful, perfect getaway we needed after a long New England winter! The cabin is even better than the photos describe, with so many thoughtful touches throughout. Jackie was so friendly and easy to communicate with. We highly recommend and would absolutely come back again!

The most peaceful place I have ever stayed at

We absolutely loved this rental and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. We loved the large house, it was larger than needed for our family, but was great to be able to spread out and have our own space. Super clean and and neat. We spend days in DC, which was about an hour away with traffic and wonderful to come back to the house and relax, use the jacuzzi and fire pit. We've stayed at other rentals, but this one by far will stand out for our family forever. Thank you for being a great host and a wonderful house you have. Peaceful location and just the right size. We enjoyed our time sitting on the porch reading, eating and just rocking in the large rocking wooden rocking chairs while chatting. We watched the ducks and geese on the lake. In the evenings, we could see the turtles stick their heads out of the water. Although there was lots to do, we only took advantage of the pools. If you are someone who wants to be doing something and planning activities to keep little ones busy, you have lots of options at the resort where this cabin is located.

This is a beautiful place! The views and property were as described - lovely view of nearby winery's grape vines and mountains. The cabin was well thought out for hanging out at the property with a nice big front porch for dining and a patio with a fire pit. Loved the pew-style bench dining nook. The place was very clean and the fresh cookies s'mores and other treats were a really nice welcoming touch. One thing to keep in mind is that there isn't a TV in the main room (there are TVs in the bedrooms) so something to keep in mind if you're gathering to watch the big game. Overall would definitely stay here again!

The photos don’t do justice to the experience. A stunning lake view in a cabin setting with tons of fun for the kids. We canoed on the lake, threw the football, cooked a steak meal and ended the evening with s’mores. All of this with driving distance from the beltway for an amazing staycation. I will definitely be back for a weekend getaway from the weekly grind.

Beautiful lakefront property. Cozy cabin with all of the comforts of home. Exceptionally clean and well organized. Well stocked kitchen with everything needed to cook any meal. Very quiet and peaceful surroundings. Many thanks to Jessica for her proactive and helpful communication.

Booked over NYE for a trip with friends. The home was spacious for the 4 of us with plenty of room to hangout together or get alone time. We really enjoyed the room with the oversized couch and projector to watch movies. We didn’t feel the need to leave house because we were so comfortable but did venture one day to a nearby winery and had plenty of options to choose from. Appreciated how the host was responsive when we had an issue with the front door. Would stay here again.

Gerri's countryside cottage was just as described. I was in awe of the natural surroundings and the privacy of the cottage. I had the pool all to myself, which was very relaxing and just what I needed. If you enjoy walking, there are many areas on the estate to explore and enjoy the natural views. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the daily grind, I highly recommend Gerri's cottage. You will not be disappointed. It's an outstanding Airbnb. I would return in a heartbeat. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Matt’s cabin! My husband and I used the kitchen table to play games all weekend. We also relaxed in the hot tub every evening. It was amazing to just sit in the quiet and relax for the weekend! We brought our dog with us and he loved all of the space to run! I would absolutely return!
