On top of genuinely getting what's in the description, which is already pretty decent, and a responsive host ready to adjust checkin and checkout times for my convenience, the showering facilities are worth mentioning. a decent shower pressure and hot water temperature is not guaranteed, so it got my attention. Also, amazing towels! I am sure I will be back.

We had a lovely stay here, my partner was doing a weekend course at Sussex Green Woodworking and this was a perfect place for us to stay, just 4 minute drive away. The location is peaceful and beautiful, and we enjoyed having coffee with the noise of horses and chickens nearby. Nice restaurants nearby, would especially recommend Poco Wine about 15 mins drive away. Would definitely be back to explore more of the natural beauty in the area.

Lots of space, clean, comfortable and good location. Liz is a great host, made us feel welcome and was quick to answer any questions. Would definitely recommend it.

My parents stayed for the Christmas period and were very happy with their stay. They thought it was tidy, clean, warm and comfortable. Nice thoughtful touches like the twin hot water bottles, milk in fridge, tea, coffee, crumpets etc. They would definitely stay again! Thank you Lisa

We had a wonderful time in this cute and cosy cottage. It is a hiddem gem! Perfectly located for trips and walks in the area and very easy, nearby train transport for a visit to London. The cottage itself is away from all the rumour and crowds, so a perfect place to relax. We very much enjoyed Hilary's kindness and hospitality. So of course we recommend this place!

We had a wonderful stay at Helen and Tom's place. Our hosts were helpful throughout whenever we made contact. The Stable is a cosy place tastefully decorated throughout. We would consider staying here again in the future.

My Dad and I stayed for a night while visiting the area and would definitely recommend! Pros: The place was very clean, the kitchen was fully equipped with utensils etc, the living room and bedrooms were spacious and comfortable and the shower was great with lots of hot water. It was easy to check in and the location was ideal. Cons: Not much to complain about to be honest! It did get a little chilly as we went out and didn't get back till late, but we put the electric heaters on for a bit once back, and it warmed up pretty quickly - there were also lots of blankets available but we didn't end up needing them Overall would definitely recommend! My friends and I really enjoyed our stay at Amber’s apartment. Communication prior to and during the stay was great. The apartment itself was clean and ideally located. Having access to the pool and gym at the hotel below was a fantastic perk. We did unfortunately have to request some of the stated amenities during our stay. It would also be a nice touch if there was some furniture on the balcony to be able to enjoy the view. But other than that, we had a great stay!

This was a treat for my daughters & I , and a must was a pool. The pool in the beautiful garden exceeded expectations it is private and views amazing. The annex was cosy and functional. Had everything we needed. Shona was very helpful and available when needed. Perfect host.

Our third stay, clean and tidy as we have experienced previously.

We fell in love with this place at first sight. It’s incredibly peaceful and quiet, and the apartment has everything you could possibly need. My partner is a chef, and it’s usually very hard to find a place he’s happy with — but here he cooked every day for three days! The apartment is cozy, full of thoughtful little touches, and just a joy to be in. Everything is super convenient, and the views are absolutely stunning. One of the true highlights of our trip was the summer house — a perfect, quiet spot to sit and read comfortably. Julie was wonderful — always in touch, she met us when we arrived and saw us off when we left. Truly the best kind of host. An amazing stay overall — we went for walks, relaxed, and came away feeling completely refreshed and in love with the whole experience.

Very well equipped, comfortable accommodation which was very convenient for Gatwick. The hosts were very helpful and generous. Would happily stay there again.

Lovely location and grounds. We ate at the gastro pub across the road - pricy but food delicious with excellent service and atmosphere. Photos reflect the accommodation perfectly. Well equipped and comfortable. Ashdown Forest is close-by with stunning walks and scenery. Annette was attentive and friendly, but not intrusive, kindly leaving us milk and a delicious cake on arrival.

Steve's place was perfect for our two-night stay. Although very compact, it had everything we needed, and Steve and Jo had added lots of welcoming touches, including breakfast things and even an Easter egg! There are beautiful walks on the South Downs on the doorstep, and Steve and Jo provided lots of useful information about restaurants and things to do in Lewes. Recommended!

Brilliant place to stay. Lovely garden area, private. The hosts thought of absolutely everything. The weather was lovely...unfortunate really as if it had rained for a couple of days the house was stocked with loads of decent DVD's, games and books! My wife has some mobility issues but managed everything she needed to. Highly recommended, thankyou.

A Hidden Gem! 🌿🌼 This property was spotless and super easy to access without meeting the host. It offered a wonderful sense of privacy, making it a perfect little retreat. The garden was my favorite spot – I enjoyed my morning tea while soaking in the soothing birdsong. 🌸🐦 The shower was refreshing, and while the bed was a tad soft on one side, I still had a good sleep. A lovely touch – the host even left a homemade loaf of bread for breakfast! 🙌🍞 With both TV and WiFi available, plus easy parking, this place had it all. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing escape!

Had a lovely weekend at Kristen’s place. Very cosy, spacious and modern. We commenced our hike through the Country Park from the property, rather than drive to start point. Also a short walk to George Street, the Old Town and the sea front. Would highly recommend.

This place was an ideal size and done to a great standard. very clean and not far from the high street. highly recommend for a couple.
