Dar Ben Gacem was built in the 17th century and was restored into a seven room boutique hotel inaugurated on the 1st of September 2013. Original architecture was preserved as best as possible; all ancient poles, tiles and ceiling gypsum have been restored thanks to talented craftsmanship. All furniture is either vintage or handcrafted by Tunisian artisans and artists coming from all over Tunisia.
