Between Saumur and Chinon, on the road to the Châteaux de la Loire and the "Loire by bike" circuit. NO BIKE GARAGE (but you can attach your bikes to the gate in front of the door). In the grounds of a turreted 15th century château - featured in a number of homes & interiors magazines - this beautifully converted, spacious, former stables is set in glorious gardens with views over our 10-acre truffle orchard. Full of character and charm, thick local limestone stone walls keep the house cool in summer yet cosy during the colder, truffle-hunting months. The covered terrace is perfect for alfresco dining and has an uninterrupted view of the gardens.

Turquant, welcomes artists and craftsmen, who open the doors of their workshops, as well as a Métiers d 'Art shop in a cave site. On foot you have restaurants, bars and a small grocery store.
