Farmstay holiday rentals in Tuscan Archipelago

Beautiful, historical place on 5 acre farm. Quiet, peaceful and clean. Kitchen was fully stocked, laundry available and comfortable bedroom and living space. We were a family of 7. Katy and Jacobo were respectful of our space, yet responsive. We were able to roam the grounds, see the ancient tomb, pick fruit and the pool was amazing. Plus the town of Volterra is only 5 min drive away. Definitely recommend this place.

We spent 3 nights in Marina's apartment and had a very good time. The apartment is very welcoming and comfortable, well maintained, clean and equipped with every accessory (crockery, cleaning products, hairdryer...) for a relaxing break surrounded by the greenery of truly suggestive vineyards. There is also an outdoor space with table and chairs for outdoor living. We had the opportunity to chat with Marina and her daughter Giulia, they are very welcoming and helpful people for great tourist tips on the area, which made our stay even more special!

Isabella is a nice and helpful person, she welcomed us to her beautiful villa and immediately put us at ease. Great tips on places to visit and where to eat. The accommodation has all the comforts, beautiful salt pool, unfortunately not available since the season has not yet started. I'll definitely be back, thanks for everything Isabella!

Daniele and Simone’s place in Tuscany is beautiful. It is such a peaceful and pretty setting with amazing views particularly from the lovely terrace. Our cottage was perfect for our family of four. Comfortable beds and everything we needed. We explored some of the villages nearby as well as wineries and restaurants recommended by Simona which were excellent. We would love to have stayed another night.

Wonderful stay at an authentic Tuscan farmhouse! We found exactly what we were looking for: a classic old farmhouse that perfectly reflects the atmosphere of Tuscany. The spacious garden and peaceful surroundings allowed us to fully relax and unwind. The rooms are beautifully decorated with great attention to detail – perfect for winding down after a long day. The rooms are a bit noisy, but it wasn't a major issue for us. Communication with David was excellent and straightforward. Hopefully, this won't be our last stay here!

I don’t even know where to begin describing this place. It was the most amazing place I have ever stayed. If you are looking for a peaceful and private villa with incredible views, then stop looking. This is it !! All of the reviews we read before we arrived talked about how amazing the views are and that you must take up the offer if Paola and Alessandro offer to cook a meal for you. Both recommendations are spot on. The sliced beef was one of the best meals I have ever had, and I often found myself wandering around outside the villa looking at the 360 degree views in all directions. We all felt so sad to leave this magic place. Paola and Alessandro were perfect hosts. Always friendly and with a smile on their faces. It’s a long way from Australia but I really hope we get an opportunity one day to return to this majestic place.

The place and the apartment are even more beautiful than in the pictures. It was very clean and has everything you need for a pleasant stay: barbecue, terrace, swimming pool. The scenery is superb and the hosts are very nice and responsive. We asked for a toaster and they provided us with one. However, I have two things to point out: the mattresses of the twin room beds need to be changed, they are no longer comfortable. It seems imperative to me to at least make fans available to tenants during hot summer nights. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay and will gladly come back.

Lovely place with a big garden, exactly as advertised and Gianluigi is a very helpful and responsive host. I did not realize when booking that it does not have wifi though (phone reception is OK)

A peaceful oasis run by two incredible sisters. You will be hosted wonderfully, you will share beautiful moments with the owners around local products. Lucia and Michelle take great care of their guests and the accommodation matches the description perfectly. Thanks again for our pleasant stay away from everything. ❤️

Our stay at Chiccas appartement was wonderful. The rooms were clean and gave us enough space. The giant garden is an amazing place to relax in the nature and enjoy the day without going anywhere. Chicca and Arno are very nice hosts who showed us where to eat and what are the best places to go the sea. Two thumbs up! 👍👍

A fantastic place to stay, great garden, very well-equipped kitchen, every detail is decorated with love! Thanks for this beautiful space! We highly recommend these! (Only the car we would recommend parking in front of the gate)

Wonderful,spacious, charming place to stay for a week to explore the Chianti region, the Cal d’Orcia and the beautiful towns of Volterra, San Gimignano and Siena. The garden is very peaceful and privacy is given! Thank you for the beautiful Tuscan experience! Grazie mille!!

The location of the accommodation is absolutely quiet, nestled in nature with a large garden and a covered terrace, which we were able to use as often as possible. We found the stay beautiful, the facilities are very cozy we immediately felt absolutely comfortable. Elena is a very friendly host who gladly provided us with excursion suggestions. The cities of Siena Volterra, Sant Gimingiano and the Chianti region are perfectly accessible. We highly recommend Villa Gigante and would come back any time.

I will definitely come back. The kids fell in love with the dog and I had a very relaxed stay because they could run free. The beaches nearby were amazing

Absolutely stunning location and beautifully presented apartment. Riccardo and Romina were extremely helpful, friendly hosts. We enjoyed seeing a resident fox every day and made friends with the 3 cats! The drive to the farm along the final track was challenging in our small Panda - we’d recommend a more sturdy car if you can. Plenty of beautiful things to see - Casole d’Elsa is a wonderful, local hill town. We visited Dream Woods and met the artist onsite. Strange and wonderful experience. A dip in the river at the Berignone Nature Reserve (Masso del Fanciulle) following the recent floods. Beautiful place. Take the longer route to avoid the steep, rugged tracks. Volterra is another stunning town with incredible views. There is no TV in the apartment - something we thought we’d miss but we didn’t. The communal seating area is outdoors, which worked well for us in the sunny weather. Larger supermarkets in Colle Di Val d’Elsa as well as a lovely street of restaurants at Porta Nova.

A very nicely located house, we were there with the children - a clear recommendation! In-house playground, play kitchen pool, no longer needs a child for a week. Particularly noteworthy is the place Montescudiao not far from the property. Italy at is! A small Italian idyll with butcher, bakery, coffee house, trafik and trattoria AND a very good upscale restaurant - Il Frantoio! Only there was no contact with the house owner as everything was handled professionally by a housekeeping company. But was not bad, we bought wine and olive oil from the surrounding farmers and enjoyed a nice time in Tuscany...

Cinzia her place was great to spend 4 nights with our family of 5. It is located in a beautiful area of Tuscany. Cinzia and her family were very helpful in providing recommendations to us. She is also a bee farmer and we got a tour of their honey extraction process, thank you so much for everything!

It is impossible to over-emphasise how beautiful the Casa del Capitano is! Even before booking, Michael was extremely helpful and informative. I had chosen the property as the place to propose to my (now) Fiancé and Michael went out of his way to make sure all the little touches were in place that I asked for. The villa was immaculately clean with fires made up in the sauna and house ready to be lit. The views (especially from the jacuzzi) were breathtaking! The villa is completely private and perfect for a romantic get-away. Everything from the underfloor heating, technology and ascetics of the house made it a home from home! We would recommend the villa to anyone looking for tranquility away from the busyness of everyday life. Thank you for a truly memorable Italian experience and we wouldn’t hesitate to return (maybe even for the honeymoon!) - Chris & Clare!

We had a great time in Tuscany. Patrizia is very friendly and helpful. The accommodation is totally special and in a quiet area ideal to relax - our highlight was definitely the private Jacuzzi and the Mini supermarket where you can buy own manufacted oliveoil, wine etc. :)

The time at Daniel's place was like a time in paradise for us! Daniel is helpful, likeable and always has a friendly grin on his face. We did a lot of good conversations with him. Repeat hazard - we highly recommend it.....

We enjoyed the beautiful scenery and Liesbeth’s recommendations were extremely helpful! The only thing that was concerning to us was how steep the driveway was (especially at night it can be hard to drive) but once we did it a few times, it got easier. Perfectly located in between a few small, but very nice towns.
