Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und der Bahnhof sind mit dem Auto in sieben Minuten erreichbar und die nächste Bushaltestelle liegt zwei Gehminuten vom Haus entfernt. Das Skigebiet ist vielfältig und gut zu erreichen.

Heimberg is an ideal starting point for excursions to the Emmental, Bern or Thun, the Gürbetal/Gantrisch region or the mountains of the Bernese Oberland (Interlaken, Grindelwald, Jungfraujoch etc.). In addition to Irene and Christian, there are eight Angus suckler cows with their calves, three Grisons ray goats. 20 chickens and an old tomcat on the farm.
