Holiday rentals with lake access in Ulster County

Roberta’s place was such a gem! We had a wonderful stay! The room was amazing—clean, cozy, and the beds were super comfortable. The view was absolutely the highlight: huge windows overlooking the Hudson River, where we could watch the trains go by (we even made a game of counting them!). The hosts were incredibly kind and thoughtful. I accidentally left something behind, and they went out of their way to mail it back to me. They also gave us great local recommendations, which made our trip even better. And their three friendly dogs added so much warmth and energy to the stay. Highly recommend!

Had a beautiful long weekend at the Bali house and would definitely stay again. Check in was easy and everything was as stated in the listing. Kitchen is very well appointed. We cooked a Christmas dinner for the family. Hot tub was wonderful on a winter evening.

Katherine’s Creekside Cottage was a perfect peaceful getaway and I wish we could have stayed longer ! Felt at home the minute we walked through the door .. living room with electric fireplace, beautiful newly renovated kitchen with everything you need, sparkling clean bathrooms with lovely towels and the prettiest bedrooms. There are so many special touches everywhere . The weather wasn’t perfect, but we still spent hours just relaxing on the screened in porch, You won’t want to leave it! Took advantage of Katherine’s recommendations for dinner (she has quite a nice list but we choose Lucy’s Kitchen in Saugerties … just great!) and spent the day in nearby Woodstock, amazing little town. We had no issues whatsoever and almost any question you have can be addressed in the Home Manual she has available. Even so, she was super quick to answer a question I had and definitely wanted to make sure we were comfortable . Don’t hesitate to book this little gem!

This place is pure magic. We had the most peaceful, soul-refreshing stay in Woodstock at this beautifully decorated home. Every detail of the interior felt thoughtfully curated—stylish, cozy, and full of charm. The location couldn’t have been more perfect—right on the pond, where we spent mornings watching deer wander by and birds glide across the water. It was the kind of serene environment that instantly melts stress away. The whole experience felt like a retreat. Quiet, relaxing, and just what we needed. The hosts clearly care deeply about creating a space that feels special—and they’ve absolutely nailed it. We didn’t want to leave, and we’re already talking about coming back.

We spent thanksgiving at this property with friends. The property is large, extremely cosy, has a well stocked kitchen and has lot of games to keep kids occupied. This is a dated property but we all found it quite comfortable and clean. Location is good as it was a quick drive for coffee ( Black Dot cafe!) , restaurants and trails. Kitchen is well stocked. The sun room was the focal point for all of us to congregate and lounge in. Backyard is nice with swings and hammocks though it was too cold for us to use it. We did use the firepit outside for making smores ! Jonas is a super star host - responsive and accomodating.

Absolutely gorgeous house and beautiful location! The house looks just like the photos and the backyard by the creek is so relaxing and beautiful. The house was so clean and well stocked. We had a great time lounging and cooking and doing activities by the water. Thank you for a great stay!

We had a great time at Margaret’s home! It was so spacious, well designed, and comfortable. We were a group of 11 and everyone had somewhere to sleep, more than enough bathrooms, and plenty of spaces to hang out and relax. The smart TVs and games were a great plus. Some of the instructions on the listing seemed out of date, though Margaret’s messaging was very clear and professional. I wished that there were more blankets because the ones on the bed were kind of thin and it got cold at night. Otherwise, my bed was comfortable! We would definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing time! Exactly what we were looking for, a cozy modern home to escape the city for a couple nights. Made s’more’s , enjoyed nature, bbq, hot-tub, attempted fishing! Lovely

We had a wonderful stay at this well-located house in the heart of beautiful Saugerties. The home was spotless, situated right across from the serene frozen lake. Our kids especially enjoyed the arcade games. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

The task of reviewing Bosun's Crack is challenging. Not because we didn't enjoy ourselves— but because whatever review that we submit will appear as pedestrian riff-raff from the hoi polloi, compared to Julian's ebulliently hospitable guide that he very much proactively shared with us several days before our arrival— featuring a comprehensive overview of Kingston's most trafficked trading posts, which definitely made our stay much more enjoyable that it would have been otherwise! We'll elaborate. From the Jacques-Louis David shower curtain and the certifiably delightful towel dryer in the bathroom, to the Passolini prints and plentiful picks of pasta— the attention to details were both fantastical and bucolic. Our dog loved the nookish alcove and may have annoyed the friendly cat upstairs, but we couldn't tell! Don't stay here, because we would prefer to keep this place clandestine for those who truly will appreciate the experience. But stay here, because it's eclectically lovely.

Great space for a getaway!

We had a great time staying in this beautiful and comfortable space. It had everything we could hope for and was perfectly clean. The air felt and smelled fresh as we walked in the door. It was spacious and well appointed with extras like condiments, games and puzzles. There was a dog gate and potty bags in case we brought our pets. We didn’t bring ours this time but might in the future because we definitely want to stay here again. There were plenty of clean linens and the shampoo, conditioner and body wash were great. The coffee was delicious and there was tea too. We didn’t use the air fryer, but it was nice to have that and the gas stove in case we wanted to cook. Thank you for a great stay!

The Barn apt was sweet with everything that we needed- 2 comfortable bedrooms, livingroom, full kitchen and dining area, full bathroom, and all very spacious! We were busy looking at the local area, so didn't have time to go on the trail, but the mountain view from the road was gorgeous! It was also a great value for the fee. I would come back again!

We loved our stay here! Upon arriving, we had a minor issue getting in, but Chris was quick to respond and help us. The place is exactly as described. It was easy to find and is located in a peaceful area. The place was clean, and we had everything we needed for a two night stay. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area.

Anais was so helpful during our entire stay. She was responsive and offered fantastic local recommendations. The snow was gorgeous and our kids loved playing in it. The fenced yard with a play set was safe and inviting. The home itself is gorgeous—so open and clean. We highly recommend Bridge and Tunnel Brewery just right up the road. It was extremely dog and kid friendly.

We enjoyed the lovely cozy, private cottage with our family. It was a pleasure to have the animals nearby for the kids to interact with, a safe environment to roam in the woods, and very convenient to have the farm shop a few steps away for local eggs, meats, etc. The cottage was stylishly modern with a clean aesthetic and modern conveniences. Josh was very accessible via text/phone and checked in with us during our stay. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and would recommend to nature lovers, families, and those looking for a getaway in the woods!

This home was everything we hoped it would be. It offered a peaceful location for our family (two kids, 4 and 2). The home was cozy and the recommendations from Nadia were great. We went to several of the recommended restaurants as well as the Teddy Bear museum and hiked the Rosendale Trestle. Truly a wonderful stay.

Cute (nearly) tiny home had everything we needed for a great 2 night stay.

I am so grateful that I found Sarah Melissa’s Birdhouse. It was the sweetest, brightest, coziest, and magical little place. I was welcomed by beautiful music playing throughout the house. It’s the perfect size and so aesthetically pleasing, bright colors and art and tons of sunlight. The house is very private, but not completely isolated which I liked,and perched overlooking the most beautiful meadow and fairy like woodland. I was able to sit and watch the deer graze during sunset and listen to the crows fly over. I was also there for the full moon and the view was spectacular. I was there for a peaceful quiet weekend and i got just that. Sarah melissa is such a generous and kind person and was very available and offered tons of recommendations from dining, to entertainment to hikes. I did the frick pond loop hike and it was beautiful. I can’t wait to go back. I really really loved this place.

We had the perfect stay for our Thanksgiving. Lots of toys for the kiddo, backyard for the dogs to run around, and a well-stocked kitchen for all our cooking needs (utensils, platters, etc). Sadly we didn’t get to use the play set or the fire pit due to the weather, but we hope to come back when weather is slightly warmer!

We had a very peaceful and pleasant visit at Daniel's home! The beds were very comfortable, plenty of extra sheets and blankets if needed, beautiful art on the walls, and in a beautiful setting. There were also plenty of appliances, so it was a very convenient and comfortable stay. We had a little trouble finding it, but Daniel is extremely responsive and friendly and gave great directions. I recommend this home for your next peaceful getaway!
