Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Union City

Susan was awesome with responding to any question we had! The place was perfect for our family to gather and stay together for my son’s wedding, which was just a few miles away. We highly recommend the home for a group!!! Thank you, Susan!!!!

Very nice, comfortable home. The home came with everything we needed, including a well equipped kitchen. The house was so close to everything and yet the neighborhood was indeed very peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay!

My adult siblings and I are originally from the area, and needed to visit a local loved one at a challenging time. Maggie’s home was just perfect: beautiful, spacious, gracious and easy to access — and so peaceful and quiet, perfect for our needs. A real sanctuary. We stocked up on groceries from local luxurious organic market the Good Earth and cooked and ate all of our meals in the peaceful, beautiful, calm environment. (Kitchen had good pots and pans, too!) Really ideal.

Kit was a great host! She was with responses and the home was perfect for our family of four. We had no issues and will definitely stay here again when we visit our family in Alameda!

First off the photos don’t do this house justice. The spaces, including that wonderful balcony, are bigger than you think. We had 7 adults, a toddler & an infant and we didn’t feel cramped at all. The beds, linens and pillows were so comfy, the multitude of windows to let the ocean air breeze come through, along with fans in the bedrooms, were perfect. The kitchen was the most well equipped I’ve used in an Airbnb before. The wagon, chairs and beach towels were also so nice to have for the short one block walk to Black Beach (one of my favorites in Santa Cruz). Oh and do not let the 1 full bathroom for everyone scare you off. Having the 2 half baths made it all work and we never had an issue. My family LOVED this place and wants to come back so very much. We have spent 26 years coming to Santa Cruz almost annually and this was our best residential experience yet. Thank you to Kim and her Rental Mgr, Nancy, for taking care of us and communicating so well. This family highly recommends!

We were stuck when our rental property on another booking site was not habitable and we found Will's place and it was available. It was exceptionally clean and quiet and had a lovely, private backyard sitting area which was beautifully landscaped. Great master bedroom with views, huge bathroom and massive walk-in closet - all squeaky clean with plenty of towels. Will's house is very private despite being in a cul-de-sac and is not overlooked by any house. It was a very bright and sunlit house and we really enjoyed our time there.

We stayed here for a month when moving from Chicago to Mountain House. This home was close to my daughter's school, my new home and it was very convenient. It was a very big home for 3 of us and we did not use few rooms including the big back yard. This home is located in a nice residential area and with lots of friendly neighbors. It has huge and clean kitchen with plenty of cabinets. This home had lots of bath room, laundry items and kitchen wares which were enough for 3 of us. Hosts were very friendly and helped us as we needed. They were able to visit us in short notice to help us regarding cleaning and air-conditions. We felt garage access should have been given to park the car. We really enjoyed being here. Thanks to the Hosts.

This was my first stay at an Airbnb ever. I spent a month here and it was great. The place is spacious, clean and well-stocked with all the necessities, including in the kitchen. The location is convenient to both Berkeley and Oakland, including the Ashby BART station, Berkeley Bowl and a local gym called Berkeley Barbell Club. I can’t imagine a better host than Joe. He usually responds to any message within minutes, and is proactive in dealing with any issue or answering any question. All in all, I highly recommend it.

I will summarize Renzo's apartment as a combination of a 5-star hotel and airbnb with the price of airbnb only. Extremely great value for money spent. The pictures didn't do enough justice to what I saw. It was super convenient and well furnished beyond regular amenities you find in an airbnb. I was offered a bottle of wine and chocolates on arrival. The heaters in the room and living room were topnotch. The bed is very comfortable Renzo was very responsive with communication I commuted everyday to San Francisco and Renzo's apartment is about 5mins or less walk to the Bart Metro Station. Super convenient

Heidi’s place is one of my best air b n b experiences. Her house is clean comfortable, snacks and cookware made for an easy transition. The apartment was beautifully furnished and thoughtfully designed. It really feels like she cares about her guests and their experience. The unit is quiet and parking was always right in front. Really nice cafe nearby. Laundry mat was clean and easy to get a machine on the weekdays. I live in oakland but needed a place to stay for a month and it was a mini vacation staying by the lake. A few times I ran into Heidi as she was out walking her dog, she is a joy.

Jonathan's place was truly like home. We particularly appreciated the full kitchen, well-equipped, which enabled us to cook several meals rather than always eating out (although the neighborhood has many interesting ethnic restaurants). The beds were comfy -- both had reading lights -- and screens in both bedrooms and the living room.

I stayed here for a month and it was great, I highly recommend! As described and seen in the pictures. Annie was helpful and ensured I had everything I needed. I think this apartment is perfect for 1-2 people with a child or small/medium-sized pet. Clean and cozy with nice, warm lighting. The bed was comfy, kitchen was small but well-equipped, living room was roomy with a medium-sized couch, and bathroom more than sufficient. I loved relaxing on the deck as well! The neighborhood is hilly and beautiful, close to bus/ferry/restaurants/stores. Touristy downtown, but not as much in the immediate vicinity. I walked A LOT with my dog and enjoyed it, but the hills can be steep! Definitely a very safe area. The only “con” is, in my opinion, it’s just a bit expensive for the size. However, I understand it’s in a pretty wealthy neighborhood and am sure Airbnb fees/taxes account for a decent part of the cost. Suffice to say, this is a once-in-a-long-while stay for me. Hopefully that’s fair.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The home was spotless and in great shape. I really appreciated the large beautiful kitchen. The fireplace was so wonderful. The high ceilings and balconies were such a treat. I also really loved how clean and new the bathroom felt. The parking was a luxury in town. Overall it was wonderful. Thank you!

everything was super nice, only thing was the charger didnt work which was very bummed out, but overall house is super spacious and nice, plenty of room for family and friends! mason was helpful & communicative!

Once you open the door, you are transplanted into a space where a breath is taken and a breath is held. If you are seeking a calmness, this home is the one. Pride of ownership is evident in the furnishings, personal touches and in the whole home itself. Didn’t want our stay to end.

Had an amazing stay at Gina’s house for a girls retreat weekend. The house is amazing with really good vibes! Kitchen was fantastic for cooking group meals and overall could not have asked for a better place!

A minor issue with our original reservation was quickly resolved by the PowerWest Team. They responded immediately and went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of and had a perfect trip. The unit is a beautiful, well equipped condo with spectacular ocean front views. We will definitely visit again and stay with PowerWest.

This is our 2nd time at this Airbnb. We took my husband’s family here for our very first family vacation and they had a blast. House is very spacious and has lots of space to sleep. We utilized the provided paddle boards and kayaks. Everyone had a good time! We were able to bring our to doggos with us. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend this place. The hosts are always quick and very responsive.

I rented this house to celebrate my birthday with friends and it was such a beautiful, well sized space. The views were gorgeous and the accommodations were unique and perfect for what we needed. Overall such an amazing stay and would definitely consider coming back again.

Can't wait to go back, even though we live in the same town! We had to find a place quickly because we had some damage at our home and Laurie and Bradley were so accommodating and flexible. The property is gorgeous! And I can't say enough about the showers. Every piece of furniture was so comfortable, including the beds (and I am very picky when it comes to beds). The view was spectacular. Besides the incredible amenities, Laurie and Bradley were such incredible hosts and were very easy to reach and super responsive to the many requests we had to extend our stay. I highly recommend their house.
