This is our third time back to their resort! Our first time using their glamping tents, and it was worth the extra little cost. We had the outdoor experience of camping with the comfort of a bed and living space, and the forest canopy keeps the area cool even in midday summer. They have great extra amenities and service to make it a memorable trip, and the region is beautiful. Can't wait to come back again!

It was a very peaceful and relaxing stay. The yurt was very spacious and the bed/futon was very comfortable. Loved that we had access to the paddle boat without having to pay extra. The store had plenty of games and books to checkout. Will definitely return and try the camper and cabin.

Was nice to have a tent and beds all ready for us when we arrived. Tent was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The resort was really cute. A lot of families with kids during our stay. My son loved the basketball court with access to basketballs. Lake was beautiful and we loved that kayaks are available to use. Bathrooms were always clean and didn’t have to worry about bugs in there! The small general store was very convenient and it was nice that we had access to buy wood and whatever we needed at anytime. Being able to make online payments was so convenient. Our hosts replied within minutes when we reached out and were always very friendly. Resort was less than 20 min from Eagle River which was great for us! Eagle River has cute shops, restaurants, grocery and fun outdoor activities. This was a nice place to stay.

Overlooking Spring Fed Pond #1

XitizRating, 5 stars8 months ago
A beautiful and quiet camping spot in the woods. A grill, fire pit and table is provided. Access to a porta-john nearby. Have to drive on an unpaved road with mud and sand in few spots. Should not be a problem in getting to the spot on a clear day in any kind of car though an all wheel drive may be preferable if it rains as the path can become muddy. Only 30 mins from traverse city so it’s great spot.

Hip Tipi for Stars and Aurora

MandyRating, 5 stars6 months ago
My husband & I stayed in the Tipi for our anniversary weekend, & it was a wonderful experience. There's a short walk to the beach, which we got to experience the northern lights for the first time! Overall it's a cute air bnb & I definitely recommend the stay.

Bell Tent at the Peak - Glamping at Lost Woods

CrystalRating, 5 stars6 months ago
My husband and I stayed a night in the Bell tent the second weekend of October. Words cannot describe how breathtaking the view is from up there, it felt like we were on top of a mountain looking down on the beautiful scenery and colorful Autumn leaves. The skies were clear and full of stars and constellations. Even in the crisp evening air we slept warm and cozy and felt at home. The Hosts are so friendly and inviting. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had all our needs met. We would recommend a stay at the Lost Woods again and again. It was a little slice of Heaven on Earth ❤️

Off grid suspension tent 2

AshleyRating, 5 stars8 months ago
This was my second time staying here but i brought my family with me this time. It’s such a nice place! The location is great. When you’re out at the tents you feel like you’re in the middle of the woods in the peace and quiet but it really only a 1-2 min walk from your car to the tents. the porta potty was really clean. you get some free fire wood. i would recommend bringing a blow up mattress or something for the tents but they’re still comfortable either way. the owner came to say hi when we arrived this time and he was very nice and welcoming. I definitely recommend this place! There is quite a few towns in the area to go to. torch lake is about 20 mins and the michigan sky bridge is about 30.

Delightful one bedroom canvas tent

KyleRating, 5 stars32 months ago
Great place to stay! It’s far enough away to let you feel secluded from the city but close enough to Mackinaw you can get there quickly. The bed was super comfortable. Even with it raining most of the night we were warm and dry! It was a great place to step away from the busy world. Thank you again!

Glamping @ Camp Squid Off The Grid!

MaddieRating, 5 stars68 months ago
Camp Squid was exactly what we were looking for! It was a quick drive to where we wanted to go ( Sleeping Bear, Traverse City, etc) but far enough away to get away from the businesses of it all. Kendra was so friendly and made our stay even better than we imagined. There was tea and coffee in the morning and I appreciated that thoughtful touch. At night there was a husband and wife folk band that played music for everyone and that just made our stay even better. Would definitely recommend this place, our bed was comfy and the tent provided was clean and roomy!!

Cherry Orchard Camping Yurt

AlexanderRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Gorgeous farm with winery on site that normally closes at 7. They happened to have a live band that night which was awesome. Even brought a growler back to the campsite to keep the party going. The yurt was gorgeous! There was even firewood and bug spray at the campsite. All in all great experience and can’t wait to come back again.

Camp Keweenaw

MelindaRating, 5 stars8 months ago
It was a little hard to find, but do worth it. Follow the directions closely. We had no phone service, which I loved. They had everything you need there, pan's, Generator, everything to cook, and water. The stars were also amazing

Rustic Glamping with Jordan River Valley Views

DanielaRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We absolutely loved this Airbnb! We wanted a nature, glamping getaway and could not ask for a better space. Kayla and her husband thought of everything we would have forgotten, including mosquito repellent, extra batteries, blankets, etc. Very detailed thought out of. The location is private and very beautiful, We loved listening to the wildlife at night and stargazing. I would stay here again!
