Great location for diving and walking to local restaurants. Quiet, comfortable and safe. The on-site manager was excellent and always responsive to any needs.

Reasonably priced, very easy and quick to communicate with, overall a great stay!

Andrea was very helpful host. The place was clean and comfortable. The beds were great as well as the location! I recommend staying with her. She is very quick to answer any questions.

The best value you can get for this price. Everything you need, to have a great time on Utila, forever one of my fave islands in the Caribbean.

Liane and Dan's place was absolutely beyond stunning! If you like water and sunsets in a tranquil environment, this is the best. The place is spacious, clean and extremely well appointed, but if you need anything, they got you covered. Snorkels, kayaks, help with the fire pit, directions to Neptunes. They're the ultimate hosts! THE VIEW: The upper deck is where we spent most of our time. Spacious, panoramic views, and very tranquil. Somehow its even better than pictured. The water is also crystal clear with a beautiful reef off of it. if you want to snorkel you can by going off the dock and to the right. We saw better fish here than on some dives, so bring your camera! If you just want to swim, the water is clear and perfect with a sandy bottom. Don't be alarmed by coral on the edge of the beach, its pristine off the dock. We can not say a single negative word and can't wait to return! Thank, thank you, thank you for such a wonderful stay and treating us like old friends!

A perfect place to stay whilst visiting Utila, especially for diving as it’s right across the street from UDC and other dive centres! The communication was easy and Cliff was fantastic at solving any issues we had quickly when needed. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a place close to everything they need

Really appreciated the stay in this amazing hostel right at the ocean!! Amazing possibilities to go scuba diving and snorkelling, karaoke bar right on the other side and the small restaurant is perfect! Will come back!

What a beautiful place to stay! The cove is gorgeous, accessible and can be viewed from the porch. Snorkeling on the reef right there. You can hear the waves perfectly when they’re rolling. Apartment is full of natural light, other than in the dark, cool, peaceful bedroom. House is finished to North American standards, with great hot water and pressure, granite countertops, good lighting, etc. We lived just as at home for a month. Neighborhood is very quiet, and perfect bicycle-distance from town. Best aspect was Erin, who was a great host and all-around special person. She was very helpful in many ways, and really provided a great first experience on Utila.

I would definitely come back, very beautiful... It is the best view that the island has, getting up and seeing that beauty is worth the whole price of the world, very comfortable and cheap, I could not have stayed in a better place, everything comfortable and accessible

Perfect location for being absolutely relaxed and for snorkeling! The inside of the apartment was pristine and picture perfect! Comfortable, great ac, clean, all the creature comforts of home. It all feels brand new and a place I would live in. We lacked nothing!! Outside! A hammock, huge dining table to sit for hours and enjoying the garden area and Adirondack lounging chairs everywhere. Neatly landscaped with palm trees and a fire pit area. A dock for a 180 degree view of the amazing Caribbean sea and super easy access to nonstop snorkeling. Liane and Dan were the best hosts! They took care of our every need with a smile! They were easy to communicate with and so friendly and caring! We definitely want to return here again and again! Cannot say enough good things about our stay! We loved it!

Gene's place is perfect. It's outside of town by a 5-10 minute walk, but peaceful, with beautiful water views. The inside had wonderfully cold AC, was very comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed. Outside we watched pelicans, geckos and fish just a few steps off the porch while listening to the waves. Most importantly, Gene and his wife were very friendly and gracious. They made restaurant recommendations, we chatted about diving, and even borrowed their bicycles 1 afternoon when we realized we quickly needed to run an errand. We truly felt like we were visiting friends and can't recommend their apartment enough.

Casa Azul was a great little space to relax away from the main strip. It is walking distance to most things (but up a little hill so depends on your fitness). But far enough away to be peaceful and catch the breeze. We stayed with two couples- the rental space is the flat under the house but you will have the place to yourself. The front porch is a great spot to string up a hammock and watch for iguanas in the trees. The beds were really comfortable and the kitchen was perfect for making some communal meals when we wanted a break from baleadas. We did have to get a few of our own pantry essentials (coffee, oil, a large filtered water bottle etc- pretty much just salt provided). June was very responsive and helpful when we asked. Thanks for a great time Utila.

Fantastic! I had a wonderful stay at The Gardens, my apartment was clean, bright and safe. I would definitely recommend staying here. I will be back to do my dive masters and will be staying here again. Tony and Jo were also awesome hosts, they always answered any questions I had and were always willing to help. Thank you so much!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Sunrise Utila. The home is about a 5-10 minute walk from the pier up a street that has a slight incline. The Neighborhood where the home is located is beautiful and very safe. The home has a wonderful view and was very clean and sits just above their restaurant. The hosts were super helpful and even helped us find a birthday cake. The home is located just a short walk from the main road that runs along the waterfront and because it was in the middle it allowed us to easily walk in one direction or another. The home was built by the hosts and very beautiful with wood siding and a deck. If you like craftmanship this is beautiful home. The air conditioners in each of the bedrooms worked great and we were able to open the door and windows in the main portion of the home for fresh air and the wonderful views. I would very much recommend others to stay here, it was perfect in every way.

The place is quite cozy and spacious, quite complete, although if you need a stove, it would be good to consider it for the future... It is in a quiet area where you can rest very well, walking it is about 15 minutes approx. from the living area... Overall, quite a good stay, the host supported us quite quickly. I would definitely come back!!
