Heimberg is an ideal starting point for excursions to the Emmental, Bern or Thun, the Gürbetal/Gantrisch region or the mountains of the Bernese Oberland (Interlaken, Grindelwald, Jungfraujoch etc.). The studio looks west with a wide view of the Gantrisch area. Therefore the day ends with a lot of sun. Flowers bloom in the garden in front of the room from spring to autumn. The apartment is furnished in a cozy shabby chic style.

Studio with views of the valley and mountains. The cozily furnished apartment is on the first floor with direct access to the seating area and parking. In the living room and bedroom there are 2 foldaway beds, a sofa bed, a dining table with 4 chairs, a bookshelf with TV and the cupboard. From the living room you have a magnificent view of the mountains. The landlords live in the basement and are also there when you arrive.

Arrival is only recommended by car!

In the converted screed of a chalet there is a friendly and bright 1-room apartment with kitchenette and private bathroom with toilet, shower and sink. The kitchen has two hotplates, a Nespresso machine, kettle, fridge and a small oven. Enjoy the distant view of the Bernese Alps or in bad weather the satellite TV. The double bed is 1.60 m x 2m large.

The middle floor is furnished for our guests with 3 individually and lovingly furnished bedrooms with comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen, a large, bright bathroom (with new shower) - renovated in December 2023 - and a balcony. The studio is located 200 meters altitude above Lake Thun surrounded by forest and meadows on a small farm. The wooden house is over a hundred years old. We live as a family in the house, aged 4-81. We are only partially accessible by public transport. 500 m steep walk to the bus stop.
