A homemade breakfast (pastries or Bircher muesli, jams, honey, cheese, ham, or local eggs) is available on request at an additional cost. Evening meals are also available. Gadestatt is a traditional Maiensäss. A Maiensäss is a cultural peculiarity of Swiss history. These simple but beautiful wooden buildings used to be inhabited on the Alps during the summer. From here the cows were guarded and cheese was made from fresh milk. Gadestatt offers you an authentic overnight accommodation with lots of charm and attention to detail.
