Bungalow holiday rentals in Vale of Glamorgan

Lovely spacious property. Well equipped and clean. It was really nice to find a bottle of Wine Cake and Milk in the fridge! Jennie and Jame's communication was great and they were flexible with our check in and check out times, which we appreciated. The property is in a great location for exploring Somerset with Cheddar Gorge and Caves so close by. The Thatchers Cider Tour is well worth pre booking, which is a five minute walk from the property. The Railway Inn next door to Thatchers Cider Farm serves delicious food!

Mum and I were so looking forward to our stay and The Shack was everything we could have wished for. Its location right on the coast path is just fabulous and so very peaceful, with only bird song for company. The cottage is very well appointed with everything you could need for a stay, it was spotless and the wood burner was the perfect place to chill out in front of on an evening. The garden is also the best spot to catch some sun and for al fresco dining! Communication with Helen was great, on hand if needed, approachable and prompt. Thanks Hels for your hospitality, thought and care taken with The Shack…. and for your lovely welcome. The Shack is the perfect place to escape to. We miss being there already.

We had a very enjoyable stay, the house was easy to find with clear instructions, off road parking and a very private and quiet area. We were in a big residential area but it was really quiet, we loved the little house it was well arranged and had everything we needed,my husband and I have stayed in quite a few airbnbs around Cardiff to visit our daughter, and this is the best so far, there was bread and croissants, jams, milk, butter, water, orange juice etc, as well as toiletries and even new toothbrushes etc in the bathroom, should you need them. Whenever we have stayed in other Airbnbs we have always had to go and buy all these after arriving, after our long journey in the car due to roadworks and an accident holding up traffic we really appreciated being able to have a cup of tea without having to go shopping. We would definitely stay again if the property is available when I next visit Cardiff

Great host and great property. Walking distance to town and restaurants and the costal path right on the door step. House had everything we needed and nice that we could take our dog with us to enjoy it. Would definitely book here again.

A friendly host and a clean accommodation with all the amenities and comforts one expects in a modern home. Communication was on point and Yan super supportive of us and the kids. There's lots around for people of all ages, there is lots of options with regard to restaurants. We shall definitely be going back soon, and can't really recommend Yan's place enough.

We had a great stay! Close enough to Mumbles restaurants and shops. It was a lovely place to stay for our family of three and our dog. My son loved having his own room (even if he chose to sleep in our bed with us!). We cooked simple meals and enjoyed hanging out at the Airbnb with the fire on and building the Lego sets we brought with us. I would recommend this place and these lovely hosts.

A hidden treasure within walking distance of the stunning coastline and the shops, bars, and restaurants of Mumbles. The fantastic recommendations ensured we were never disappointed. Totally pet-friendly — we all looked forward to coming home in the evenings after a busy day, both the two-legged and the four-legged members of the family! Comfortable and compact, it was the perfect base for our trip. The biggest compliment we can give is that we’re already planning our return!

Cant recommend this place enough. Its off the beaten track with plenty of beaches to explore. The great thing about the mumbles is its rural but you're never far from a coffee or ice cream stop to recharge after a nice play in the waves. The local beaches have some of the best rockpooling and rock climbing areas. Lots to do for families. There are play parks absolutely everywhere. The Bungalow was cosy and calm. It was the perfect place to come back and reset after a lovley adventure. It has everything you could ever need and is comfortable and well kept. The hosts were fantastic, friendly, communitive and honestly they should charge much more for the accommodation and location. We had the best time and highly recommend the area and the Bungalow as a base. Thanks for a wonderful stay. Lots of love.

We loved staying at Fiona’s cottage nestled at the edge of Butte Park. It’s in a beautiful private garden with everything in walking distance including the city centre. The cottage is spacious, quiet and very restful. We felt at home upon arrival. Fiona is a gracious, friendly host and you will enjoy staying here.
