Cabin holiday rentals in Valle del Baztan

Amazing place in the forest, easy to get to with car since the roads are asphalted apart from the last few hundred meters to the cottage where it's gravel. We loved the view and peace and quiet, despite being in nature everything was clean and well kept. Few bugs (we went in April, might be worse in summer months). The fireplace makes everything so cozy and coffee is provided for you. We also loved the water filter for drinkable water, since the one from the taps smell pretty strongly. The kitchen is large and super well equipped with spices and cooking utensils. Definitely would return!

Todo muy bien! Un sitio con mucho encanto, tranquilo, en la naturaleza y el jacuzzi genial, no se puede pedir más.

Wow!! Just wow!! You won't stay anywhere better than here...the views are just amazing. Yes , the track is fairly hair raising but once you are up there you won't want to leave. The chalet is clean and tidy, but basic and I wouldn't want to be up there in bad weather, but it has everything you might need, even wifi!! Joseba was a great host. Sadly I could only stay for 2 nights.....i'd rather have been there for a week...or longer!

Cadre très agréable avec une belle vue sur la forêt. Le logement est petit mais bien agencé pour 2 adultes et 2 enfants c’est très bien! Pour info, il n’y a aucun condiment (sel, huile, sucre..) mais supermarché pas loin qui dépanne bien!

accueil très chaleureux, Jérôme est au petit soin, le lieu est magique, les cabanes sont magnifiques, le bain nordique (même sous la pluie) est une expérience extraordinaire, le petit déjeuner est délicieux et copieux, de très bons produits ☺️ un havre de paix entre la rivière et la forêt, nous ne voulions pas repartir. nous y retournerons sans hésiter une seule seconde. et encore un Petit point en plus pour leur chienne, une super nounou pour notre chiot 😅 merci encore !

Vi boede 5 voksne i det dejlige hus, som passede perfekt til os og vores behov. Vi følte os hjemme med det samme. Huset ligger idyllisk i ro og fred med den skønneste have og udsigt. Der er masser af cykelstier og cykelruter - vandreruter i skov og på strand. Ikke langt til gode surfbølger. Der er gode indkøbsmuligheder. Phil var til rådighed under hele opholdet - han var opmærksom på os, og på om vi havde brug for hans hjælp til at få det bedste ophold. Vi er alle 5 enige om, at vi gerne kommer tilbage til det skønne hus i Landes igen.

Petite escapade insolite, hors du temps dans un lieu paisible en pleine nature. L’hôte est très accueillant et a l’écoute du début à la fin. Propose plusieurs forfaits en plus de la réservation qui offrent un petit plus, ce qui nous permet de prolonger le moment de détente. On vous le recommande à 100% ! We found this location to be pretty much as described in Airbnb. It is a nice old stone building in excellent shape that has been modified inside with new appliances, new bath, etc. Everything worked well, although the electric heater could barely keep up with a couple of cold nights. Our host, Maria, was extremely pleasant and helpful. The little building is adjacent to a larger stone building which Maria also owns, with most space there for her family. It is an excellent place to relax. The overall property has sheep, miniature horses, etc. The roads in the area are in excellent condition, with many twists and turns, but excellent signage. Remember that in Basque Country, road signs often are only in the Basque language and not in Spanish. It is in a very quiet, remote location, and to get to a market, it’s a 20-minute ride to the nearest town, where you have to park at the edge of town and then walk in from the parking lot. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.
