If you want to get away for a long weekend or just a weekend away, this is the perfect place to stay. Right on the border between Norway and Sweden. Close to swimming area and wonderful sunsets can be enjoyed on the balcony. Perfect for larger families or company. The property is secluded but close by with car distance to shopping malls in Sweden.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely home, set in a beautiful peaceful part of Sweden. This is a very clean spacious home with nice outside seating space too. The laundry room is a great plus point too. Most importantly Amelie is a great host with the best prompt and helpful communication I have experienced on Airbnb. We’d definitely recommend!

What lovely days we had in Onsala! Me and my sister visited John's home for a few days together with our four children between the ages of 5-8, and we all enjoyed ourselves. Plenty of sleeping places, nice, tidy home with large and well-protected garden with large areas for the children to play on and a patio deck where we could follow the sun all around the house. John was a great host - nice, accommodating and always quick to respond. We can really recommend this home!

Such an amazing place for our family to spend four days. The house is very comfortable and there are so many things for teenagers to do here.

We spent almost two weeks in Alvasjö with a family of 8. The place is nothing less than magic. A lovely house, renovated just the way it should be, leaving the historic parts and gently adding modern needs. Sara and Ed were really helpful, always there when needed and very easy to contact. Excellent communication. The area is beautiful, went canoeing, rowing, fishing, mountainbiking, SUP, hiking, Sauna ob the lake, mushroom and blueberry picking. It was not „just another holiday“, it was more than what we all dreamed of when it comes to „holiday in Sweden“. Will certainly come back, a must go when you want to experience a comfortable and exciting holiday in the middle of wonderful swedish nature. Many many thanks for everything, Sara and Ed!

We booked the house for 5 weeks as accommodation for our installation at a company in Gothenburg. Since we wanted to take care of ourselves and also wanted to sit together for a cold drink in the evening, we were looking for an apartment. Ina and her family treated us very well at all times and also helped immediately if we needed it. You could write her a message at any time and they responded quickly. The house is spacious and very clean. There is everything you need to live and cook and also much more. Wood was always provided to use the oven. The view from the house was wonderful! If we go to this company again, I would be delighted if Ina would host us again. Clear recommendation !

Thank you for a nice time in Sweden. We really liked the place. A great location right by the forest. Every morning and evening deer were visiting. A great kitchen with lots of space for cooking and cozy living room for many people. Fireplace room, cinema, there was nothing missing. A short way to the lake to a great swimming spot or lock cafe. Good starting point for doing.

We enjoyed this charming cottage very much. Secluded location, cozy garden, nice surroundings and good walking opportunities. Great location for exploring Kinnekulle, the cottage is also close to Kinnekulleleden.
