Commiezenhuis

This Commiezen house (customs office/earlier BORDER/TAX CONTROL Office) is one of the oldest houses at the mouth of the North Sea Canal. The house dates from 1875 and thus forms the basis of the later IJmuiden. With the largest sea lock in the world within walking distance and beach and fishing port within a radius of 1 km, this place is an ideal starting point for day trips. Haarlem (15 min.) and Amsterdam (30 min.) are also easily accessible. Public transportation - bus and train - are available as well as free parking.

When you stay in our attractively furnished summer house in the always pleasant Wijk aan Zee, you have the entire house at your disposal, and you can completely relax. Wijk aan Zee is a lively place where there is always something going on. Walking on the beach or in the North Holland dunes is possible within a few minutes from our residence. The house has a lovely box spring bed, sitting area with TV, dining area, kitchen and separate bathroom. There is a private outdoor area with garden bench.

This cozy apartment is a perfect base for a delightful holiday near the beach. It is a quiet spot behind the dunes in the village of Wijk aan Zee, on walking distance (10 min.) from the widest beach of Holland. The apartment has all facilities and there is also a nice terrace with a wide view over the village. The apartment has a private entrance and features a small kitchen, a lovely bathroom and a great bed. You also have a private parking place and there are two bicycles available. Enjoy!

Overnacht in een charmante oude restaurantwoning, gelegen in de duingrens en op steenworp afstand van het strand. Deze ruime woning met uitzicht op zee heeft onlangs een eigentijdse transformatie ondergaan, waarbij moderne trends harmonieus samensmelten met authentieke, ouderwetse elementen. Het verfrissen van oorspronkelijke componenten zoals bakstenen muren, houten balken en pilaren, gecombineerd met een moderne inrichting, geeft de woning een fraai samenspel van luxe en authenticiteit.

This beautiful family ship is fully equipped. There is a fully equipped kitchen, internet and toilet. There are 8 beds spread over a captain’s cabin, a room in the front and a fixed bunk bed next to the aisle. Showers are possible in the shower complex in the harbor, where 16 showers are available for you. You can also sail to Amsterdam and stay there for the night for example, or sail on the IJsselmeer or North Sea. We would like to tell you what is possible with our beautiful boat.

De badkamer is voorzien van alle gemakken met onder andere vloerverwarming, een stortdouche, wasbak en toilet. Clamping in Holland!

A cosy living room and a nice kitchen, while you can relax outside in the tub overlooking the water! Close to the Spaarnwoude recreation area, 15 minutes from Haarlem and 30 minutes from Amsterdam. The beach can be reached within 20 minutes. The perfect combination of nature, city and beach. Swimming is allowed!

In 2023, our 35m2 studio was newly and sustainably built. The studio is stylishly and comfortably and also equipped with every comfort. Located in the great recreation area Spaarnwoude. Just 10 km away are the bustling cities of Amsterdam and Haarlem. The Kennemerduinen and the beaches of Ijmuiden, Zandvoort and Bloemendaal are easily accessible by bike, car or public transportation. Surrounded by greenery, this is your starting point to explore the area.

Basecamp in IJmuiden is a Tiny House Eco Resort with 34 unique Tiny Houses. Nature, the sea and industry come together between the marina, the beach and the Kennemermeer in the dunes. The MyHome is a beautifully furnished studio of approximately 60m2, with lots of glass and sunlight. Behind the house you have your own spacious private terrace. This Tiny House welcomes a maximum of four guests, there is one double bed and a sleeping sofa for two people.
