Airbnb asks you to write a review in few words. Mine is …….. Bellissimo Bellissimo, Bellissimo. But I can’t stop there. When you open the shutters of this beautiful home and all you can see are mountains, greenery and a church in the village, why would you go anywhere else to get away from it all? To other guests who are thinking about visiting Tuscany and having a taste of living in a small Italian village, with delicious food, walks with scenery to die for, then you cannot go wrong with booking this stunning location. Keith and Aisling make you feel so welcome and insist that it is your home for the time you are staying in this wonderful village in the mountains. Their home has a rustic charm and is spotlessly clean and so cosy. It’s also a great base to explore Lucca, Florence and Pisa. Don’t hesitate. Book it now if you are in need of some R&R and a place to re-charge and relax.

Beautiful house, lovely village Cutigliano! Above all, Solange is an excellent host and wonderful person. You can really tell she loves to host her guests. We stayed for 4 weeks with our baby and we loved our stay. There is much to enjoy here. Many beautiful details and so carefully decorated. Upon arrival there was a blazing fire already going, fresh fruit from the market and some cool drinks, what a nice welcome! The house did have some challenges with a crawling 9 month old, but Solange provided us with an extra baby box. Also: it is a big house, like a little tower, very spacious feeling, lots of stairs! We made some trips to Lucca, Pistoia, Florence and Siena. And we especially enjoyed the local restaurants of Cutigliano. Really happy to have found this place and what a beautiful month we have had. Words cannot describe quite how wonderful this place is. We had an amazing stay. The house was beautiful, the location was more peaceful than you could ever imagine. John and Cath were incredible hosts who were extremely responsive and kind. They provided a fab document giving so much useful info on the property and the local area, they took away all the stress of having to find those good restaurants and the best places to visit. We were a family of 4, the property was glorious, we will be back!

We had a great week at Gianna's place. Her family and the animals were a delight. The Pistoia Mountains are severely underrated asa a destination and have a lot to offer. San Marcello with it's variety of little shops and cafés is just a short walk away. Thank you and see you soon!
