Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Victoria

Gerry was as excellent of a host as they come! He met us upon arrival to help us find the house. He was very flexible even though we were running later than we thought due to the ferry. The house is amazing - so clean, updated and comfortable. And it has all the comforts of home that you would need. He goes above and beyond, and we will definitely stay there again!

We had a fantastic stay - right on the ocean with beautiful sunrise and sunset views. The jacuzzi overlooking the water was enjoyed by all. The kitchen is spectacular with everything you could need and the living area is very nice. The full wall of glass windows and sliders with the wrap-around deck was great. The heated floors were an unexpected, but welcome surprise!

We had a great time at Michelle’s place. The house felt warm, super clean, had all the amenities we needed. The garden was beautiful! Would stay there again.

Restful and restorative! The home was even more beautiful in person. Clean, tasteful, and thoughtfully laid out. We were blessed with a full day of April sun, and made it down to the nearby beach. It was stunning! Highly recommend this stay for groups and families :)

This is a beautiful, tranquil location and lovely home. DM is a very attentive host, almost like a mom :) There were a lot of thoughtfully tailored touches that welcomed us and made us feel at home, including some really lovely breakfasts. It made for a very nice, cozy getaway with a lot of nice perks - massage table, firepit, and a super comfortable hot tub. if you're looking to be charmed by East Sooke, this is a fantastic place for it!

Our Family stayed In Deborah’s beautiful home for the weekend. It was a great place to reconnect and hang out. The view is spectacular, the kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. We hope that we will be able to come and stay again.

We had the most wonderful time here - the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate after a day of exploring! The outdoor tub was such a treat and the loft was so cozy for watching movies! Also highly recommend using the fire pit to make dinner and smores one night. We cannot wait until our next visit, and might even bring our pup next time :) The hosts were very responsive and quick to help when we had questions! Thank you so much for having us!!

We had a nice stay of three weeks at this Airbnb. The location is perfect, just a short drive from Victoria as well as close to stunning hiking trails. The place was very clean. We liked that it had a large TV in the living room and another one in the master bedroom. The gas fireplace in the living room was perfect for taking the chill off of the downstairs area in the morning, the only time we felt we needed to use it. The master bedroom was spacious with lots of closet space and drawers. We used the second bedroom as an office, and liked that there was enough space for two people to work. The upstairs bathroom featured a huge walk-in shower that was a real treat. We also enjoyed meeting the owner and his friendly dog, Biscuit, who live next door. We thought this airbnb was very reasonably priced and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

The place was ready when we arrived, access was very easy. The space was clean and equipped with all the essentials. Ryan was easy to communicate with, got us what we needed from coffee to tea towels! He also had some great local recommendations. Beautiful weather and accomodations made it feel like a luxury glamping experience!

Had such an awesome stay, the room was tidy, modern and had everything we needed. We had such an awesome time out on the dock, wish we could have stayed longer. 10/10 would recommend this place

Deanna is a great host very accommodating and responsive. This is our second time staying at her place. Location is perfect to watch our son racing who was participating in Shawnigan regatta. Looking forward to stay here again next year!

: We stayed at Jiva’s Airbnb for a girls’ weekend to celebrate my mom’s 70th, and it was absolutely perfect! The views of the ocean and mountains are simply breathtaking—better than we could have imagined. The accommodations were wonderful: very clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed. We especially loved relaxing in the hot tub every night, taking in the scenery and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. It was the perfect spot for a special celebration, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!

Tracy and John are fantastic hosts. They have everything you can think of and more within the unit. There were also some other little perks but don't want to ruin the surprise should you choose to stay here which you should. The view / location can't be beat. The lake is a few mins walk away; super clean (rocky so you may want water shoes) and there is a dock to jump off of. Separately, my luggage arrived late and they provided me with extra toiletries which was so thoughtful. They also regularly checked in on the situation which I really appreciated. I hope to be back!

Stayed for few weeks and it was great. I love colwood waterfront which is why I chose this place. The place was comfortable, well-equipped, and exactly as described. The hosts was responsive and welcoming.

Our stay at the cabin was majestic, peaceful and relaxing. We instantly felt right at home! While the place was set up with everything we needed, it was reassuring to know Aletta and Goode were close by and the offer to help was always open! Aletta and Gordon are of the highest caliber people you could ever get to meet! We are grateful they shared their beautiful cabin, property, beach walk, stories, laughter and of course, dogs with us! Can’t wait to return!

The cabin was clean, homey, and stocked with everything we needed for a fun girls' trip! One thing worth noting is that the upstairs/loft bathroom and bedroom do not have a wall separating them, which we didn't expect, but it wasn't too much of a problem as there is another bathroom downstairs. All in all the hosts were very communicative and we had such a great time during g our stay! I would definitely stay here again.

What a dream it was to stay at this lovely cottage! So cute & cozy with a beautiful outdoor space that we were welcome to explore. Got to meet a couple of Michele’s retrievers our first evening when she came to greet us, which was a treat. Relaxing outside the cottage was such a magical experience with birds chirping, deer grazing, and a cat wandering around seeking pets. The property is also right next to the Mount Parke Regional Park which we enjoyed a spontaneous hike around. We got a chance to walk over to Mayne Island Brewing on Sunday for a couple of beers and to stock up for our visit. We also did our grocery shopping at the Farm Gate Store just down the road from the property and made most of our meals at the cottage. In the evenings we tucked into the VHS and DVD collection which was so fun & nostalgic! Thanks so much, Michele! We hope to be back in the future :)

Great private spot, secluded area, great beaches and farm fresh eggs nearby. Space was clean and kitchen well equipped. Fire pit in the backyard was a nice touch.

Lovely and cosy cabin located in Jordan River near beautiful hiking trails and beaches. Our favourites local spots were Shirley Delicious, Mystic Beach, Botanical Beach, and the Sherringham Lighthouse. The cabin is well equipped to prepare meals ourselves, with a fully supplied kitchen and an outdoor barbecue. Closest grocery store is about 40 minutes away from the cabin, which our host informed us of prior to our arrival. The exterior of the cabin is also equipped for optimal cosiness and relaxation with an outdoor dining area, a fire pit, and an outdoor shower. We truly loved visiting the area and the cabin was a great spot to rest and replenish our energies before next days’ adventures.

Thank you so much for hosting me at the cabin, I had such a peaceful and cozy stay. The farm tour with Mathilde and the location were absolutely the highlights. I could have stayed there forever and enjoyed many hours and many more coffees on the beach. There was lots to walk around and explore too. Despite the hiccup of no hot water the first night, it was fixed quickly the next morning which was appreciated. Very grateful to have stayed at the cozy cabin and hope to again soon
