Within walking distance (about 600 m) is the river Le Gartempe, where there are plenty of places to take a refreshing dip. The cyclist can also indulge. For the mountain biker (possibly available), touring cyclist and recreational cyclist, there are countless possibilities through the woods, along the river or through the countryside. For the hikers among us, the possibilities are endless. For the horseback riders, there is a riding school a few kilometers away. ''Le Refuge'', beautiful guest house in local stone with 2 or 3 bedrooms (read the description) on 4ha of land, pond, area for playing (football, volleyball, etc.), swing, hammock, etc. departure for a hike on foot or by bike. Large free parking Pets accepted under conditions. Region well known for its wine and the Châteaux of the Loire 5 km from Chinon and 20 km from Saumur. Private terrace Beautiful swimming pool with deckchairs, greenery, parasols… Our donkeys and sheep are very friendly.

Nightly rate: €52 without sheets + €8 sheets to be paid in advance if needed.

Children (and not just them) will be delighted to meet our gentle donkeys (Isa and Belle), our free-range hens or the 2 horses. It feels like a small farm!
