If you are looking for peace and quiet in an area close to tourist attractions, you will be captivated by this charming building, typical of the region. It is located in the middle of 3 hectares of fields on the edge of a forest. Inside, a warm atmosphere awaits you with its brick walls, parquet floors and exposed beams, and a wood-burning stove in winter for an evening by the fire. In summer, its magnificent swimming pool and covered terrace offer you a view of the sunset.

The Castrum

The 3-star gîte (CDT 31) is housed in an old 13th century house that overlooks the vast village square and is part of the old medieval castrum (fortified square) whose thickness of certain walls and the embrasures recall the ancient origins of the place. The village is part of the Cocagne region within the "blue gold triangle" connecting Albi, Toulouse and Carcassonne, a region steeped in history related to the culture and flourishing trade of pastel in the 14th century.

The Forge , is a large beautifully renovated village house , which as its name suggests used to be the village Forge. The Medieval village of Salles is a pretty , relaxed and friendly place surrounded by lush woodland and flowery meadows , a delight! Sit out in the sun on the terrace , lounge by the pool or retire to the cool kitchen. All our beds are comfy and our bathrooms luxurious!
