We had an absolutely incredible stay at this beautiful Airbnb! The panoramic views of the Nanda Devi and Trishul mountain ranges are truly breathtaking — the landscape is majestic and ever-changing, offering something new to admire from every corner of the house. At night, the starry skies are magical, and the sight of the glowing Almora below adds to the charm. The house itself is modern, spacious, and thoughtfully designed to bring the outdoors in, ensuring you can take in the views from practically every room. It’s equipped with all the amenities you could ask for: fast WiFi, power backup, a washing machine, and a refrigerator. Pritam and Vinod were exceptional hosts, always available to assist with anything we needed. The house is wonderfully secluded, providing the perfect level of privacy, which made our stay even more peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend this place!

We, family of 3 including a teen, stayed there for 2 nights and 3 days - and my experience as below. Found this after scouting many places/ reviews on airbnb - We were not let down when we checked in. Great host who was in constant touch since the time we booked our acco. Parking - is a little bit away from the resort, and would give yourself a nice little cardio but no worries as the staff help in getting your luggage across. Excellent support staff - Dhiraj and Tara Bhai - extremely helpful and warm. Though we drove down in our car, we hired a car to get to Almora and the staff helped us with their local contacts and arranged our local conveyance. Food - tell your preference in advance - some recommended - pahadi chicken curry/ dhal. Also must try their paneer and bread pakoras - surprisingly very light and fluffy. All in all - worthy of a stay if you wanted a place away from the hustle bustle of typical tourist commercials spots that can get over crowded - and this fit our bill.

Bessies cottage is a wonderful place in Peora. Located in a very peaceful surrounding with a driveway, it has three bedrooms two on the groudfloor and one on the top floor adjoining the terrace. The place is very clean with amenities like heater, kettle, geyser, washing machine and fridge required for a great stay. The lawn adjoining the house is very pretty with beautiful flowers and sitting area. On a clear day there is a great view of the snow clad range from the lawn and the terrace. The highlight of the stay was the personal attention by Kamal bhaiya the caretaker who not only cooked delicious meals as per our taste but also pampered to every need. Extremely polite he takes care of all guests like his own family. We had a wonderful time and would love to visit again.

The place truly justifies its name SUKOON. A beautiful and comfortable abode right in the middle of jungle with lots of peace and serenity. Sushil ji is a very welcoming host. Just go there if you are looking to spend some time away from the hustle.
