Mountain cabin at 1000 m with sauna on the southern slope

We stayed there for three nights as a one-night stay and couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay for the end of our vacation. The cabin is fantastically located in the mountains with great views – perfect for unwinding. The sauna was also a highlight and made the stay even more relaxing. Everything was just as described: quaint, quiet and very comfortable. Unfortunately, there were technical problems with the water heater for a short time, but the hosts were quick to respond and take care of everything, so that wasn't a problem at all in the end. An all-round successful break – we'd come back anytime!

We were just passing through one night here. The apartment is comfortably furnished and was very clean, so we could relax well after the long drive. The surrounding area also seems to offer a lot. There seem to be many hiking trails starting from there. A cozy place. I'm sure we'll be back to explore the area again:)

We had a wonderful stay here! We didn't miss anything, everything you need in everyday life is available and even more. The location is beautiful, you can really immerse yourself in the Alps feeling, it has nice quiet and a little more remote yet a good connection by public transport. We felt really well taken care of. Thank you!

The place was very lovingly designed, the kitchen included everything you need, incl. Coffee powder, beer, and sweets. The location is very quiet and was perfect for our getaway. In the morning, the host surprised us with homemade potfengolatschen! Communication was easy and very pleasant. The only thing- tall people have to retract their heads from time to time. However, we were made to feel very comfortable!!

Very very nice and quiet place to stay! Very well located, in the town you are in 5 minutes by car and you can hike around the cottage. We would definitely come back!:) The only thing that was unfortunate was that the hostess did not introduce herself to us, but her father warmly welcomed us and showed us everything. Thank you so much for letting us spend our vacation there:)

A lovely and cozy apartment with charming views from the window, just 10 minutes away from shops, restaurants, the river, and the sights of the old town. The hosts were very welcoming and gave us great recommendations for useful and tasty places nearby. The apartment was clean, bright, and located in a very quiet area. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We had a wonderful time and would gladly come back again.

We had a wonderful Christmas time in Scheffau and spent our 2024 celebration in this fantastic, idyllic cottage. Bernhard and his family were very friendly and even set up a lovingly decorated Christmas tree for us! On New Year's Eve, they provided us with a fire pit. The house was clean and well maintained, with authentic décor and stunning mountain views. The small stream next door provided a relaxing atmosphere. The ski and toboggan areas are just a stone's throw away, which our children enjoyed immensely! A highlight was the swimming pool with sauna area, only 15 minutes away, ideal for relaxing after a day in the snow. Bernhard also gave us many tips for excursions that enriched our stay. Overall it was a perfect family vacation and we highly recommend this vacation home! We look forward to our next visit!

It was the perfect accommodation. The best part is having a great view of the Wolfgang. Everything was the same as the photos, descriptions, and the host gave me quick answers to my questions and requests. Wolfgang is such a beautiful town. If I ever come back here, I would like to stay again.

I can only recommend - the place was clean and very comfortable with amazing mountains view. Claudia is perfect host, very pleasant and always makes sure that everything is all right, nothing is missing and the guests are happy 😊. Gave us good ideas where to travel and enjoy around, even we had few rainy days.

We had a really good week with our family with 3 young children. The house is definitely child-friendly enough (children aged 3 and 5). Everything looked cozy and was neatly tidied up. The floor, bathroom, kitchen and rooms were all clean. There was only some dust here and there, but we can live with that. Everything we needed to cook was provided in the kitchen, there is also a small freezer. We didn't have a lot of extra charge on heating and water (wood fire used for heating). Outside, fun toys and various bicycles and scooters are available. It's a nice and quiet neighborhood and thanks to the washing machine and dishwasher we didn't have to spend much time in the household. We enjoyed, definitely one more recommended.
