In a peaceful part of Vouvant, a short walk to restaurants/shops/bars, 2 newly refurbished en-suite rooms (one with lounge/kitchen) and terrace. Also can be rented as one unit for 4 people. Close to Puy du fou, La Rochelle/beaches, carting/zipwire & Mervent forest (great for cycling & walking). Saturday markets at Fontenay & Niort. A short drive to the green Venice (Maillezais twinned with Glastonbury)where you can take a boat ride, stroll through the ancient abbeyand have lunch by the water.

Two bedroom cottage, with 16th century fireplace.

Our cottage has been sympathetically renovated and is a uniquely individual space retaining a wealth of originality, blended perfectly with a contemporary feel. We can welcome 6, with two double bedrooms and a large double sofa-bed in the galleried landing area. A spacious living area leads to a quiet outdoor patio with rural views. The grounds the cottage are located in are surrounded by a large moat which contains unprotected deep water. Unsuitable for young unsupervised children.

The apartment consists of a living room, separate kitchen, one bedroom with a double bed, one bedroom with 2 single beds, one bathroom. A supermarket is 100 m away. 10 minutes from the pretty village of Mervent known for its vast forest. 1 hour from Puy du Fou. Notify in advance if you need the baby bed. Possibility of parking on the street only to unload luggage. Parking is right next door. Market under the halls and outside every Saturday at the end of the street.
