Close to the Pieterpad, the Hanze cities of Deventer and Zutphen. Between fields and in a beautiful backdrop landscape, where hikers and cyclists can fully enjoy. But it is also good to relax and relax in your own yard, on the terrace or in the grass with hammock, loungers, picnic table, fruit trees, flowers, birds, sheep meadow and chickens roaming around.

Beautiful home with plenty of space around the house. We love hospitality and respect your privacy. Can be totally contactless if that is a wish, because everything is separate and has its own entrance and lockbox. House is cleaned by us according to Airbnb rules. Important due to ambiguity, we can serve/make breakfast, but this can only be done on request and costs 10 pp. The meadow opposite the front door can be used by our guests for the dogs. This is fenced, and the garden is not fenced.

The basement apartment was completely renovated in 2018. It is very lovingly decorated and fully furnished. The living area is very spacious and offers enough space. The small kitchen is fully equipped. The apartment is located in a quiet residential area, just minutes from the train station and town center (about 12 minutes). The recognized resort of Billerbeck is located in the Münsterland and is also called “the pearl of the Baumberge” due to its location in the Baumberge.

Het Goede Gemoed is located in a very wooded area where you can walk, cycle and recreate to your heart's content. On the grounds of the University of Twente you can enjoy sports. The inner cities of Enschede, Hengelo, Oldenzaal and Borne are within cycling distance of the house. The lovely villages of Delden, Goor, Boekelo are also in the vicinity. Sleeping under a clear starry sky and waking up to the chirping of the birds. In the northeast of the Achterhoek, as part of our farmhouse, we have converted an old barn into a comfortable guesthouse. The cottage is in a large garden surrounded by fruit trees, free to pick. Hiking trails start directly from your accommodation, and various cycling junctions can be found a stone's throw away. Welcome and enjoy everything the beautiful Achterhoek has to offer!

Haus Barbara - self-sufficient farmhouse in Borken

An old farmhouse from the early 20th century - thanks to a solar system (hot water) /photovoltaics (electricity) and its own groundwater, the house functions self-sufficiently and sustainably. A few years ago, my wife and I decided to renovate our house and make part of the space available for vacation guests. We look forward to interacting with the new guests, offering them a great time and simply a pleasant stay in our cozy home.
