The cottage is quietly located between pasture and the edge of the forest, right by the Hoher Meissner hiking area. 7.5 km from the Heilbad Sooden-Allendorf an der Werra. The remote old half-timbered house is located on the slope of a castle and has been resting for many hundreds of years in the fairytale landscape of the Solling. It used to be the Amtskrug, even the judges from Göttingen spoke law there. Now it is a family idyll that offers peace and quiet. The modern conservatory opens the building in the cool season and the two fireplaces invite you to good wine and nice conversations.

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.
