House holiday rentals in Waikanae Beach

We had an amazing stay at silver haven! Blissful with the trees and birdsong in a quiet street. Plenty of parking and spaces to relax around the well maintained property! Pool was awesome and being heated was such a bonus kids swam day and night! Inside the home was warm, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was probably the most well thought airbnb we have ever stayed. Had everything you could need - Including great basics of oil, vinegar, teas coffees etc. lovely loaf of bread, organic milk and cereal on arrival! TV had all the apps and good quality appliances. And nice lighting through the home. Comfy beds and thick black out curtains. Toys and games for every age in the middle room. It’s a real home away from home. Exactly what we needed given the circumstances we were staying under. Louise was a delight to deal with accomodating, friendly and responsive host. Thank you very much, when we are next in the region we will definitely stay again.

I had a wonderful stay at this property. It was very clean and tidy, and the swimming pool was well-kept. The location is great for activities like cycling and fishing. The only issue was the door code didn’t work initially, but Airbnb provided a new one promptly.

Kelvin was a super host. One day the lockbox jammed. It was no problem as we had access the spare keys but even still, Kelvin immeditaely he replaced it! He also showed us around the amazing property like a real gentleman. Thanks Kelvin. It was peaceful, had everything we needed and is a very special property. I hope we can return in summer to experience the beautiful, naturally plant filtered swimming pool.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The whole place was amazing and the family loved the pool. The property exceeded our expectations and we would love to stay again.

Thank you, what a lovely and special family home, it made for a magical and relaxing xmas break. Beautiful deco home with bohemian vibes. A spacious garden area to play led to an ethereal private pathway to the beach which was dotted with wild flowers. Original deco elements retained in the bathrooms. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds with views. Would not hesitate to recommend. Many thanks.

Our group of grandparents (visiting from Canada), parents and 2 children aged 6 and 2 enjoyed our Easter weekend stay. The kitchen was well equipped for all our food prep; bedrooms were comfortable, spacious and clean; there were DVDs of cartoons that the adults all remember, as well as some movies. The adults enjoyed playing table tennis, and the sleepout was a good place to store bicycles. Proximity to the excellent playground, the beach and the estuary were big pluses. The enclosed yard was also helpful for keeping the children safe. And wine and chocolates were a pleasant welcoming gift. Thanks so much for sharing your attractive and comfortable bach.

We had a great stay at Kate’s place! In a lovely quiet setting but still close to the Greytown shops. The next door neighbours (cows + sheep) were very friendly!

Our stay for the last weekend of the school holidays was PERFECT im glad we made the trip to Ōtaki for a family reunion we enjoyed our stay so much we hope to return again the fire made the place so cosy when you could sit around it with the beach in your view there was lots of space, games were a hit for the kids although we didnt spend most of our time soaking up the beautiful surroundings we had a great experiences, it didnt end there waking up and having the beautiful beach right there was an absolute bonus from sunset to sunrise was stunning!!!

We had a fantastic stay at Sam's place, great location with the forest and beach close by. Our kids loved the house and section and such a bonus to be able to bring our dog! Barbara was super friendly and welcoming. Awesome Kiwi Bach vibes .

We were visiting family in Upper Hutt. We needed a home base for 3 people for a 16 night stay. Willem's accommodations were perfect with room to spare. Plenty of room for a large group. Easy check in and ability to come and go as we liked. We were traveling with our 81 year old father and it was perfect for us. There were 3 bedrooms on the main floor and 2 bathrooms, one with a wonderful shower and the other with a tub. Also the living spaces were very spacious and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend Willem's home.

Very nice and spacious accommodation suitable for 6-7 individuals. The rooms were well-maintained and clean. I will certainly return to this location.

Siammone’s property was in a great location to walk to the beach and to shops and restaurants. The road is not busy and there is plenty of parking. The house is clean, tidy and homelike with everything you need. The fire was wonderful and made it cozy when cooler. Siammone is a perfect host - very helpful in all ways including supplying anything we needed, providing flexibility and extremely friendly and welcoming. Thank you ! I highly recommend this wonderful place and it suited our family with small children.

Amazing hosts really responsive to needs as they live next door. House was perfect for our group. Facilities were exactly what we needed. The house was really clean and well equipped with lots of extras that made the stay. Easy to heat when cold as lots of heaters. Rooms were really spacious. Would definitely come back and easy recommendation for everyone. There was a note that we missed in the booking information about not drinking inside (which didn’t impact us as we were competing in an event but may impact others in winter, in summer there was a beautiful back deck which would be perfect for a drink).

beautiful house, with garden and being very private with the front fence, entry by gate... we were in Naenae for a funeral, really appreciated to have the space to reflect and prepare ourselves for our last days with our sister/aunty/Nana.. Thankyou so Barbara for letting stay at St James..
