Detached country house in meadows and forests in an absolutely secluded location. Hiking/biking trails start right by the house. There is a great covered barbecue with fireplace. The beautiful garden can be used in many ways. A ping-pong table, a foosball table and a dartboard are in the double garage and offer fun in any weather. The beautiful antique country house style immediately invites you to relax. The kitchen is well equipped. Outside of the holidays, we can often extend the check-in/out.

The apartment is great for young families with one or two children. In the garden there are seating, a barbecue and a sandbox. Toys are available. The walk to the center of the village is 400 meters and 1.1 km to the castle. In the center of the village there are restaurants and shopping facilities. A Bimmelbahn runs every hour during the day to Lake Edersee and back. By car, you can reach Lake Edersee in 3 minutes. For hiking trips we rent a collapsible wagon.

Our modern apartment is located in Meineringhausen in a district of Korbach (5 minutes by car). The rural area invites you to hike, cycle and do other sporting activities. If you are enthusiastic about cycling, you should definitely use the 200 m long cycle path from Korbach to Lake Edersee. It takes 20-30 minutes by car to get to Edersee, Twistersee or Diemelsee. The popular towns of Willingen/Winterberg can be reached in 30 or 40 minutes by car.

Living on the farm

Our house is free-standing between fields, forest and meadows in beautiful scenery. The former farm is located near Wolfhagen. The 100 sqm apartment is on the ground floor and has separate entrances and a very large eat-in kitchen, which is very extensively equipped. The courtyard, terrace and garden can also be used at any time. Hiking enthusiasts can start directly from the farm. The Unesco World Heritage Site "Bergpark" can be reached quickly.

The 90 m² accommodation offers a cosy living area, a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, a bedroom in Finnish log style, a bathroom with shower, and a guest WC. Here, two people will find plenty of space. Amenities include high-speed Wi-Fi (suitable for video calls), a fan, and satellite TV with streaming services.
