We were in the house for a JGA and felt more than comfortable. The large kitchen-living room on the 1st floor offers the perfect space for a wonderful girls' night together! The rooms and bathrooms were modern, new and clean. Thanks to the good weather, we were even able to spend the evening behind the house with the cozy lounge furniture in the evening sun. Everything around perfect! 🙏🏼😍

Furnished with a lot of taste and high quality outbuilding of Ludwigseck Castle, located in the middle of nature and tranquility directly at the castle. The highlight is the light-flooded, very well-equipped kitchen with stunning panoramic views of the surrounding hilly landscape. We felt very comfortable here. The only minor drawbacks were the at times somewhat unstable hot water supply and the tiny fridge, which was unfortunately much too small for our group of 6 over the Easter weekend.

I had the most wonderful stay at Petra's place! The space is peaceful and cozy—a perfect retreat from everyday stresses. Petra is an exceptional host- very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. She goes above and beyond to make guests feel at home, offering a warm welcome with delicious handmade jam, a delightful selection of teas and coffees, and even breakfast and cake on Sunday mornings. The entire place has a warm and soulful vibe, with lots of little touches made with love that make it truly special. If you're an animal lover, you'll be delighted to meet Petra’s three handsome boys: two dogs and a cat. They are all super friendly and add to the homey atmosphere. Thank you Petra!

The house has all the comforts. The view in the living room, with lots of glass, is very relaxing. Just like you're in the woods.

Everything was clean and the living room was extra nice. A few staples have arrived. Only in the entrance area you will notice that parts of the house are still being renovated.

The apartment was sparkling clean. Everything was available or even more. Very good amenities. The mattress on the large bed was super soft, I preferred the other smaller bed because the mattress was very hard. The description for TV and Wi-Fi were easy to understand. It creaked a little at the beginning, but the host was immediately reachable by phone and we were able to resolve it very quickly. Very good information was also available for excursions in the area. Very quiet environment ideal for "coming down." Also very well taken care of for the four-legged friends. This place is highly recommended. Grade 1+

We had booked 2 nights over Easter. The house is cozy and the surroundings worth seeing. Especially with small children you can relax on vacation . Our youngest member of the group wanted to stay even longer. We had a really good time and...Astrid is an excellent host !

Beautiful log cabin in a large garden and through the fireplace it is really cozy in the evening. The kitchen is quite well equipped, in case you like to cook yourself. Only one pan was missing. Corinna was very friendly and uncomplicated.

We had a short hiking holiday in Winterberg. For this, the apartment was ideally located. The apartment corresponded to the tender and we felt comfortable there. We loved the use of the sauna and pool after the hike. We can recommend the apartment in good conscience.

the apartment, the house and the garden are uniquely beautiful. Everywhere there are views and views that help to switch off and come down. You can take care of yourself as a good bakery and supermarkets are not too far away

We were with a large group including baby with Heleen and her husband and we loved the accommodation: spacious, sufficient toilets and bathrooms for the group size, lots of parking, opportunities to stay indoors and outdoors - we liked it very much!

We had a nice few days at Pete's farm. After personal welcome and introduction to the stoves, we kept it nice and warm ourselves. There was a small fleet for the kids as well as lunches with the animals. Outside it was very cold all the nicer was the warm fire inside. With 6 children & 3 adults, we had more space than necessary. A successful change from the gray city of everyday life.

The absolute highlight is the wellness area with pool, sauna and solarium under absolute privacy. The 2 hours agreed daily for the benefit of this area are completely sufficient. It is located in the immediate vicinity of the A7, so it is also very easy to reach. However, the noise of the A7 is audible, with the infinite bird concert from all corners covering this noise. When the door and windows are closed, you don't hear it, so it doesn't bother sleep. Wifi comes from the main building and is relatively weak. There's another guest wifi, as seen on Airbnb, but it's not working. I couldn't understand why the wifi distributor in the bedroom should serve. The phone number on Airbnb is not working Communication via text is flawless. Response in seconds and always positive. I wouldn't call the appartment dirty. However, a thorough cleaning in corners and edges seems long overdue.

Overall a really perfect stay. The house was exactly as presented and hoped. Plenty of space, plenty of sleeping options, sauna, bathtub, great kitchen and and and... Sabrina also left the pool "open" so that we could take ice baths before and after each sauna session. Simply phenomenal and highly recommended. Note on the four star categories. Here I was extremely petty. The location is on a busy road and not in the countryside - it didn't bother us, but maybe you should know. The apartment was also super clean and tidy but of course you notice that people usually live in it. And that didn't bother us, but it's not a five-star hotel. As mentioned - I was now very petty, so I don't give out five stars everywhere! 😅 But overall highly recommended for six people!

The place is very cozy and nice, just to feel comfortable, rest and unwind. The host is very relaxed and accommodating in dealing and also educated directly about some conditions on site (bakery, restaurant, etc.) Despite booking at quite short notice, everything worked out wonderfully and uncomplicatedly.

At our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Robert. Robert is a top host and incredibly friendly. He comes from the area and has tips and dishes in stock. Especially recommended is the biker ranch "ignition"! We will be happy to come back! Thank you 🤗

We felt very comfortable in the tiny house. The host was helpful if we had any questions and suggested good hiking routes. The tiny house is in a very quiet area and on the edge of nature. Due to the cuddly soft bedding, you had a very good night's sleep to start a long hikes the next day! If we were to return to the Rothaar Mountains, we would definitely choose the tiny house again 🙂

So we were extremely positively surprised and very satisfied. Nice apartment with everything you need. The attention to detail was great and we were received in a very friendly manner. Information about all things related to the stay and the surroundings as well as great information was immediately and gladly provided to us. If only all hosts were so open-minded. Great courtyard, also very nicely decorated here. Parking is available directly opposite the house with a short walk to the apartment. What an incredible stay! Tobias and Susan were wonderful hosts. Very responsive and extremely helpful if we had questions. There were 4 of us who stayed at the apartment. The space was perfect for us. It felt like home, we had enough room and privacy. We even hosted a dinner for our family who lived in town. All the kitchenware and appliances worked great. Even Tobias came by and sat with us during dinner and shared some treats with us. They also provided us wood for an outdoor fire. It was a very peaceful and quiet farm. We ended up extending our stay from 7 days to 11 days and luckily the apartment was still available. With our extended stay they brought us fresh towels for the remaining week we were there. I can't say enough good things about our hosts or the location. It will be added to my favorites! We really enjoyed our stay, Tobias and Susan. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, from the cozy linens to the fully stocked kitchen. The location was ideal close to all the attractions but still in a quiet, peaceful area where we could unwind after a long day. The host was amazing, always responsive and accommodating, and they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. It truly felt like a home away from home. We can't recommend this place enough and would absolutely love to return in the future. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!
