Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Waldviertel

We stayed 2 nights and 3 days, it was very nice and pleasant! We were rested and had a wonderful stay. Recommended for everyone, hosts are super nice and helpful, teotz late arrival in the evening. We would have liked to have stayed longer, but unfortunately had to go back home. Thank you for the beautiful days and hopefully see you soon. 👋 Regards, Magdalena

A wonderful place to unwind from the daily hustle and bustle. A place to stay, from towel to chips for the fireplace. The surroundings of the chalet are suitable for long walks or riding a bike. Around the circle, there are flat forest paths through beautiful nature. Highly recommend to visit 😍

We enjoyed our visit and the Airbnb was beautifully decorated. We found the driveway outside the bedroom window a bit loud and the security light outside the window was bright when it came on in the middle of the night.

We were greeted by Hana and a lovely garden. Unfortunately, it was raining and cold, but before I returned to the room, they lit the fireplace. And also I liked the view from the window. The bus centre and the old city are also within walking distance. Hana recommended good cafes and restaurants. Thank you, Hana and Peter.

Nice and spacious apartment, exactly right as a family.

Günter is a wonderful host and we felt very comfortable in his apartment. It is much bigger and more beautiful than the pictures suggest, perfectly equipped and the garden is fantastically quiet and beautiful - the children were very happy about the egg hunt outside for Easter! Trains 40, 9, 41 and 42 stop nearby and drive downtown. There is a Euro Spar right around the corner and some restaurants and bakers. An absolute recommendation from us, we will be happy to come back!

We felt immediately comfortable with Stefan. Very individual furnishings, everything we needed was there in the kitchen, bathroom and living room. Description is correct, the pictures are also as we have experienced it. Everything very personal, very tasteful and perfect location for us: close to the MAIN TRAIN STATION, quiet environment, but within walking distance of the city (if you feel like walking through Vienna - 15 minutes to the Naschmarkt, which is almost around the corner!). We will be happy to come back!

If you're looking for an unadulterated country experience, where you can still find all the comforts, then this Airbnb apartment is the perfect choice in the heart of Waldviertel! We stayed here for four nights and enjoyed every moment of it. The apartment is fully equipped – the kitchen is beautiful and practical, the beds and mattresses are comfortable, the furniture is demanding, and every detail has been thought of. Clean, friendly, cozy. Our hosts, Szabine and Krisztián, were incredibly kind, flexible, and informative. We received lots of helpful advice even before we arrived, and they were always on hand to help on the spot. The neighborhood is stunning: we hiked in nature reserves, crossed the Czech-Austrian border over a picturesque bridge, visited a wonderful castle, and discovered cozy little towns that evoke the beauty of the Tuscan landscape. Although we are not in the classic Austrian mountains, the hilly countryside is very friendly and inclusive. I highly recommend this apartment and the neighborhood

We needed a peaceful and inspiring place to retreat and write, so we probably stayed longer than most guests. We really enjoyed our time in Třebíč ! The host kindly greeted us and did everything to make our stay comfortable. The apartment itself is spacious and quiet, and the location couldn't be better.

Great location, a stone's throw from the center, apartment equipped with all the comforts

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The location is great, with bus stops and a supermarket just a short walk away. The neighborhood is quiet, perfect for a relaxing getaway. I appreciated the free parking, which made things convenient. The room looked exactly like the photos—very cozy and inviting. Katharina is incredibly nice and friendly, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for comfort and convenience!

David's house is a hidden treasure. The simple, clean and smart modern architecture of the house on one side set in the slope and on the other side by a total glazing open to the garden is not only visually attractive, but the house gives plenty of light, sun, air and cool even in the hot summer. The great design of the house and its amenities are embedded in a breathtaking garden including a natural pool. The house and garden are simply wow and the connection of modern design, architecture, and nature is like a textbook. Great communication with David, who was always ready to respond or vegetables available in the garden, are the cherry on the cake. We spent here with my wife and our pointer who worked perfectly in the huge and rugged garden, just three days, but we definitely want to come back if we can. David is a great host and his place is definitely one of the absolute best places I've ever been through Airbnb. I recommend 100%.

Despite very late arrival, I was warmly welcomed. A very comfortable bed and nice room, completely blackout who needs it. Beautiful garden to relax and very good coffee ;) Michaela and Norbert were very nice and always up for a chat. Camillo is still very young and accordingly playful but a very friendly dog who really only wants to play. The train connection is about 500 m on foot to "Wiener Neudorf", but outside the "core zone" that means only that an additional ticket is necessary. The public transport is very tight, so the connection is perfect. Shops are also within walking distance. After an exciting day in Vienna, the accommodation was a great rest with tranquility, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Value for money was great, I'd love to come back!

Seminarhaus Phönixberg is a place of power and inspiration. Ulrich is a great host with attention to detail and guests, friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure to communicate with Ulrich. The kitchen has everything you need, an excellent coffee maker and copper utensils. The bedrooms and bathrooms are comfortable and the view from the window is a million. My family wholeheartedly recommends this house.

I couldn’t have picked a better place to host my sister when she visited me in Retz. The location is perfect, a quiet street just a stone’s throw away from the Hauptplatz… other sights such as the Dominican church and trails to the famous hill-top windmuhle are at your doorstep. The house is spotless, well-appointed and has a terrific garden area with a terrace and a beautiful view of the Retz town hall clock tower. Communication with Patrícia was great, she was always quick to reply and ready to help, everything went smoothly from the moment we booked. All in all a great experience and would highly recommend.

Perfect place to slow down, reflect, and relax. The natural garden and sauna contribute to the absolute well-being. The fireplace provides extra coziness in the evening. Hedi and Josef welcomed us very warmly and showed us everything. A really nice house to enjoy :)
