Holiday rentals in Wallkill

Our stay at Starlight Serene was everything we hoped it would be! John was very responsive and helpful, especially as this was our first time using AirBnB. The pictures are very accurate, there were plenty of towels, linens, and a VERY well equipped kitchen - much more than we expected (or I have in my own house, I think!). Lots of nice bonuses to this place - my kids loved the firepit and there was wood on hand as well as a s'mores kit; the hot tub was warm and ready when we arrived. You are at the narrower end of the lake, but still a beautiful view with plenty of wildlife. The location is great - roughly 30ish minutes to Bear Mountain, Legoland, and the Palisades Center (which had tons of rainy-day fun for kids). We even rented a pontoon boat from Murphy's Cove Marina - Richie was really wonderful to us and our kids and they loved their first time boating and fishing on the lake. We had a big group stay at Anastasiya’s Airbnb and it was exactly as described. We also really enjoyed the table games in the home and the place was clean and very spacious. It was an easy check in and Anastasiya was very responsive throughout the entire process. It was also very close to Shawnee Mountain which was where we went to snowboard during the weekend. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for an Airbnb!

My boyfriend and I absolutely loved staying at Bob & Julie’s lake house. 10/10! The house itself looks exactly like the photos with so many accommodations you usually don’t expect in an air bnb. Amazing kitchen (something I look for since I love to cook). I cooked a lot this weekend and it felt like home! The backyard is perfect. We were outside most of the day either by the lake, the fire pit or in the hot tub at night just loving life. We made A LOT of s’mores. The house is literally ON the lake with picture perfect views and the surroundings and the lake are kept SO clean. Bob and Julie were amazing hosts before, during and after our stay. Very quick to respond and always friendly. We’ve already told them we would love to book another weekend here again and probably for an extra night this time!

We had a very nice stay, the house is like the pictures and everything is clean and neat. Jolanta is a great host very friendly and helped us with everything.

fantastic host and super helpful whenever we had questions. my wife left her iPad there and they mailed it back. verry appreciative of that. first time using a wood fired sauna- I was skittish at first, but it was a great amenity. hot tub was clean and worked well as well. would definitely recommend if you're eyeing a rustic retreat.

Pristine clean, cozy, one bedroom condo unit located in Windham with seasonal access to tennis courts and a pool. Walking distance to the beautiful Windham Path. Slept better than at home in the comfy bed. Went for two days of midweek remote work. Agnieszka, the host, was gracious and responsive. The host obviously put some genuine TLC into this place and it shows. Browsed for books at Briars & Brambles, an indie bookstore in Windham adjacent to Windham Pharmacy. Purchased groceries and firewood down the road at Hickory Hill Market . Ate in area at Higher Grounds and Windham Diner. Living room has a fireplace with large screen TV just above. We had a wonderful long weekend! The house was perfect! It was very clean, cozy and we loved the cabin feel inside. We also enjoyed playing pool and air hockey. It is super close to the lake and several delicious restaurants. My kids and dogs also had a great time. Adriana was quick to respond when I had questions. I highly recommend this house!!

We absolutely loved our stay! Giancarlo and Francesca were responsive and attentive hosts. We initially misunderstood the check-out time, thinking it was 11:30 AM instead of 10:00 AM. Once we realized our mistake, we asked if we could extend our check-out to 11:30 AM, and they were more than happy to accommodate us. Although it may seem like a small gesture, it made a huge difference for us. Thank you for being our host. I highly recommend booking this cozy home!

Beautiful home in a very private area. Lots of family games and lots of outside things todo. Me and my family had a wonderful Easter weekend get away. Only complaint I would have is the jacuzzi smelled weird and stuff was coming out of the jets but other than that it was perfect! We all were very comfortable and had a blast with the kids.
