This 4,256-square foot, 3-level home boasts 3 bedrooms with queen beds upstairs, a recreation area with 2 daybeds downstairs, a sleeper sofa, 2 full kitchens, a deck off the sunroom, and a deck off the master bedroom. The home is secluded at the edge of a small town and is bordered by a creek. Hillsboro has a dinner theater and cafe. Turkey Run and Shades State Parks are nearby as are Wabash College and Purdue University. Easy access to Interstate 74. Firepit, wood and charcoal grill on site.

Experience a relaxing stay, spending time watching chickens happily foraging or barn animals as they graze in the pasture. Mimi's Country Cottage

Quaint, quiet and cozy cottage set in a tranquil park like setting with all the amenities of home. Ten minutes to Shades State Park and twenty minutes to Turkey Run State Park. A great place to stay for the Covered Bridge Festival. 15 minutes to Wabash College, 25 minutes to DePauw University, 45 minutes to Purdue. We live on site and our back door is approximately 600 ft. from from the Airbnb. At this time we do not allow pets. We clean the cottage in accordance with CDC guidelines.

No smoking or pets.

It’s only 5 miles to I70, 3 miles to Indiana State University, 7 miles to Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, and 6 miles to Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College. It’s also just half a mile away from The Landing. The home features a full kitchen, a living room, two bedrooms, and two full bathrooms. Inside you will find all the comforts of home along with fireplace, cabin decor, and walk-in shower with unlimited hot water. Perfect place for a couples romantic getaway or gatherings for holidays, bachelorette/bachelor party, and more.

If you are looking for a place to get away from the stresses of life this is it. You can fish on our 10 acres lake, walk thru the woods or just relax on the porch swing. Only 5 minutes from the nearest town, 30 minutes from Terre Haute and 40 minutes from Indy. Front porch faces a walnut tree grove and back porch faces 10 acre lake. At least 3 State Parks are within 20 miles of this property. Also super close to the Parke County Covered Bridge Festival.
