The property has a history of artist residents, and we encourage creatives of all types to come seek the inspiration found by those that came before. The town of Marshall, an artistic enclave, is 25-30 minutes away, and downtown Asheville is a 45-50 minute drive. Hiking and rafting nearby.

The cabin partly functions as an informal artist residency space for our friends and comrades and guest who stay will find it more as a home environment instead of a hotel. Come expecting simplicity and refreshing stay in the wooded landscape of WNC.

There are many nearby Towns: Asheville, Weaverville, Mars Hill, Marshall, Hendersonville, Burnsville, Spruce Pine, Brevard, & even TN Towns! Seasonal fun is near: Rafting, Hiking, Fishing, Golfing, Biking, Biltmore Estate, Downtown Asheville, Snow Tubing, Snow Skiing & more! You might even see deer & turkey during your visit!

River Relaxation

Our cabin is in the woods just up the hill from the river. The river is great for wading and fishing. There is also picnic areas at the river with chairs, tables, fire pits, and plenty of trees to hang a hammock. This property has a main house. The parking area and the cabin are on the lower level of the house. There is a sidewalk that goes past the house to the cabin. The cabin has it's own private area with a side yard, outdoor furniture and a firepit.
