Naturhaus Altmühltal

Our nature house consists entirely of natural building materials and uses the synergy effects of radiant heat and solar energy. The untreated wood is constructed according to the system of Bio-Solar-Haus, whereby no paint or other preservatives were processed. The solid wood floors throughout the house are oiled. In addition to natural wood such as stone pine and oak, other natural materials such as natural stone from the region (Jura marble) have been processed. The construction of the Bio-Solar house allows a natural air circulation and thus dispenses with the disadvantages of ventilation systems. There are no convection formed due to a built-ceiling and wall radiant heating.Through the house-in-house system (without vapor barrier), the water vapor can diffuse freely to the outside, causing no condensation and mold. Given the low heating energy demand in the house and the use of solar radiation, no fossil fuels are needed. Solar energy is the main energy source, only in winter can be heated if necessary with the wood stove. Service we are happy to bring you fresh, crispy and wholesome bread rolls from a BIO-bakery from our region.

There is permanent ventilation in the wooden house. In the bedroom, a large waterbed (2 m x 2.20 m) ensures a good night's sleep. The accommodation has been lovingly and individually furnished. The kitchen is small but very well equipped. Barbecuing and sunbathing in the garden. Outdoor sauna, 2 e-bikes, Thule Cab2, Wallbox can each be booked separately.

Perfect for 2–3 people in a charming old farmhouse, about 10 minutes from the A9 and 25 minutes from the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre. We also live here in this building, but we always strive to be discreet and respect each other's privacy ♥️

There are two rooms suitable for four people plus a small child. In the living/sleeping area, there is a large double bed and a large sofa bed, and there is a single bed in the second room. The kitchen is fully equipped. Opposite is the toilet with a shower. The terrace, which leads to the annex flat, invites you to relax and linger. Numerous cycle paths and the Franconian Lake District are in the immediate vicinity, as is the train, which takes you to Nuremberg in 22 minutes. Pets only on request.

The rural area provides relaxation, and the active agriculture provides variety. There is no boredom with us! There is the possibility to help us on the farm or to linger comfortably by the campfire. The light-flooded apartment is located on the top floor of our house (1st floor). It was newly built in 2017 and, with its 100 m², offers plenty of space to stay. You can sit on the large loggia in the evening sun or have breakfast outside. A washing machine and a dryer can be shared in the basement.
