Holiday rentals with a fireplace in West Haven

We had a fantastic stay! Johanna and her husband were extremely friendly, helpful, and graciously hospitable. We felt very welcomed. They were very responsive to a few requests we had and even made up a futon as an extra bed when asked about sleeping arrangements for my family of five. We had a great time roasting s’mores over a campfire by the pond and my son caught his first fish. Great memories! On our next visit to Fairfield, this will be the first rental I will be looking for.

My friends and I had a wonderful time at Alyson & Costa's Fairfield house! It's an absolutely adorable space in a great area. The hosts are responsive, helpful, and kind. I would recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking to stay in this area!

The house had a lot of space especially with the finished upstairs. The backyard and hot tub was a great bonus.

Incredible historic house in Easton. The description really doesn't even do it justice - this house has soul and history and Carly has done an incredible job with interior design - super stlyish. The place is huge - we rented for Thanksgiving week and everyone had their own space with tiny cozy nooks all over the house. It also boasts the largest wood burning fireplace I have ever seen. Location is woodsy CT, but in 15 minutes you can be in busy Westport with lots of great shops, restaurants, and beaches. We loved it and would come back!

This place was amazing from the moment I walked in being welcomed with a stocked kitchen of breakfast essentials. The rooms were cozy and clean. I was so intrigued with the house being built in 1802 and history on the walls with all the renovations. My host was very responsive and helpful from start to finish. Will definitely stay here again if I’m in the area.

As someone who is older and a little wobbly, I would like some indication for the edge of the steps going from the kitchen to the living room area. Otherwise the house was beautifully maintained. Beth was very helpful and amiable to our request for a later checkout due to my daughter’s health concerns. For us Floridians the heating system worked wonderfully during a cold week. I would very highly recommend this place to everyone.

We enjoyed our stay at Dariel’s very much. Convenient location for our needs. Everything was spotless and had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely choose this location again and recommend to others!

Unique layout. Didn't realize 2nd bedroom was up another flight in attic of the unit but it was cool. Overall the short stay was nice. Host very responsive. Close to train station. Loved the porch area. FYI walls are a little thin .... heard neighbors from the main level bedroom 🫣

The location and comfort can’t be beat. We stayed at the professor’s flat for a full semester while I was teaching at Yale and it was perfect for a couple and a cat. We even had a couple of friends visit and stay over comfortably during that time. We truly lived in the place like it was our home, because it felt like it: it was cozy, and despite a smaller kitchen than we’re used to, it was well equipped, and we were able to cook a lot and even host dinner parties. It’s very conveniently located to everything in New Haven/the East Rock neighborhood & we walked everywhere. Also very convenient to the freeway. A parking spot was included in our rent as well. Remy, Hilary and Sal were always responsive and ready to take care of anything that needed attention. Remy also gave us and all the tenants extras like baked goods, and samples of her great Italian cooking on occasion (around the holidays). They also gave us fire logs for the fireplace we used our entire last month in town.

The place was great! Clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Regina was an excellent host, very responsive and attentive. Highly recommend!

Stayed here last minute and felt very safe especially being alone. Karleen was always responsive and I knew if I had any questions or concerns she would be happy to help. Would stay here again!

This is my 3rd stay here. I sometimes come on my own to visit my daughter at Yamaha and I pay extra per night to stay at this comfy relaxing spot so I feel at home. I have private parking, easy entry, close to downtown Yale shopping and minutes from raved Whooster Villlage. Don’t be hesitate because it is on the corner of the busy street, it allows for spreading out of family and each bedroom with own bathroom/TV sitting area. The upstairs room can get warm but use the AC unit in room and it is cool in no time! This will be my home away from home for my daughter’s next 3 years at UNH. My only suggestion is the main floor bedroom does not have King size bed but the room Itself is gorgeous! Enjoy and highly recommend this spot!

Billy’s location is ideal for anyone visiting Yale. I had conference calls and needed to work during my visit, this location provided the optimal space for working while traveling. It was a quick walk to the Yale campus and had plenty of eateries in walking distance as well. The kitchen also had all the amenities needed to prepare a quick meal during the week. The apartment was clean, the instructions to get in and out were clear and the convenience of a parking space made a breeze coming and going. I will definitely utilize this location again when visiting my son at Yale.

Our family had a very enjoyable stay! The home and surroundings were beautiful, everything was extremely clean and organized, our host was wonderful! We absolutely loved the tea ceremony! It was very educational! We will definitely stay here again when we return to New Haven!
