Dan’s home is like stepping into a home of history and adventure. There are many pieces to view of his endless journeys throughout the world. The home is situated on a high bluff overlooking the Potomac. The views are gorgeous and many birds can be seen and heard. The gardens and plantings around the house breathe life to the landscape. The home itself is updated with high end kitchen and baths. Master bedroom is spacious with an en-suite bath. 3 other bedrooms are very nice as well. Our stay was lovely and would recommend this home highly.

We had my Dad's 80th birthday party here. Bobbie was the BEST, she met us at the door showed us around and checked on us during our stay. Matt gave the children rides on the trails to see all the wildlife, elk, bison, sheep, goats and we even seen a albino deer! The house is prestine and the scenery was most BEAUTIFUL with the rolling hills and the wildlife within eye sight. No need to leave for anything because everything was right there! Plenty of room for the 12 of us to sleep and move around comfortably.

This is such a special place with so many areas to relax and enjoy the property from the beach and Cabana, to the Lily Pad. We enjoyed the walking paths and areas to watch the passing trains. The villa had views from every room and was well designed with quarry artwork and signage. It was clean and well equipped with plenty of towels for our 6 guests and everything we needed for prepping meals in the kitchen. The added touches of a s’mores kit, games, guides, toddler safety, nightlights and sound machines were so thoughtful. Alexis stayed in touch throughout, provided good info within the villa, we heard minimal noise from the unit upstairs and appreciated the proximity to several towns in the area. It felt like a resort in the middle of Harper’s Ferry! Thank you for such a great weekend, our family so needed a vacation like this after what has been a difficult year. Very appreciative.
