Holiday rentals with a patio in Whanganui River

We were very happy with the accommodation which was spacious, clean and packed with all the amenities that make for a truly comfortable stay. Sue & Tor provided excellent and prompt communication. The unit was supercomfortable and accommodated two adult couples perfectly. We especially enjoyed the private louvred patio and the fully equipped kitchen together with the two bedrooms each with en suite. The decor was restful and attractive and made us feel at home.

Ken’s place was amazingly clean, perfect for our short trip to Taupo. Highly recommended

Parking good, just a brief walk to lake, shops and restaurants. Apartment was very quiet and just lovely and relaxed to come back too. There was only one thing we had a problem with although not insurmountable was the fob entry into apartments with having only one and 5 people going off in diffirent directions each day we had to do some planning for entry into the complex, I think possibley there was an intercom system but we did not look into that as only 3 days stay and very busy time for us all. But would definitely stay again.

Had a great stay here with our family. The kids loved the lounge setup with the bean bags and they loved the heated pool! Great location, really nice apartment and facilities. The main bedroom is a tad noisy as it's close to the road.

We had a great stay at Pam’s house in Taupo. The house was the perfect setup for our family of 4 with plenty of space to holiday in comfort. The house was very modern, clean and spacious - very comfortable beds and equipped with everything you need to holiday away from home. Location was great - easy to get to and from town with just a short car trip away. From the house you can also spend time eating outside in the garden or walking down the steps to the river - great for children. Thank you for the warm welcome and having us stay. A place we will happily book again.

Ken was quick to reply to initial request to book and very prompt to respond to communication during our stay. Lovely accommodation in peaceful neighbourhood with access to everything you might need & great riverside walking, we’d have booked for longer if we’d known!

We had a great weekend away at Ricky’s place. It was nice and quiet, a lovely home at stay at. I would recommend Ricky’s house to all my friends and family who are wanting a weekend away in Taupo.

This house was perfect for our family group of 9 adults. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking large meals, and it was great having two full bathrooms. The fire and some heaters kept us warm at night.

House was well equipped and very spacious.Lovely large back and front gardens.Bus stop nearby but not many buses so we used taxis into town and back. Host was very helpful on the two occasions I called her. There were only 2 of us but would be great for a family. We enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay at Caroline’s place. It’s very well presented, tidy and clean. The beds were really comfy and the linen was lovely, we had great sleeps. The house was well equiped from the kitchen through to the bathroom and laundry. Caroline has a keen eye for detail and is very thoughtful leaving little treats for our dog. We are always very grateful being able to bring her on holiday with us and Caroline’s place was fully fenced for any size dog which was great! The fire kept the place nice and warm on the colder nights and the front porch is lovely to catch the afternoon sun and read a book. Caroline has great communication and you can tell she really puts in an effort to keep the place comfy and clean for her guests. We loved our stay and would be back in a heartbeat 😊

We were very impressed with our host’s outreach communications and responsiveness. The location was easy to find, spotless, very well appointed and cozy for the 4 of us. We would be excited to stay again.
