Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Whitby

Spent a wonderful weekend at this home while visiting family nearby! The house is very spacious and the kitchen was stocked with all the dishes and cookware we needed to make our own meals. The en-suite bathrooms for each bedroom was a great bonus. We were all very impressed, and would happily stay here again next time!

My partner and I stayed at Yu’s place for 6 days with our dog. It’s in a convenient location by 2 different grocery stores and a convenience store with a Tim Horton’s. It’s about a 15 minute walk to Sunnybrook hospital and the fenced in back yard is great for dogs. We worked from home and the internet worked well and was fast. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Brett’s place in August. I’m from Toronto but needed a base while visiting from the UK as a family of 5. Great amenities in the home and surrounding area. Easy transport links and a great splash pad 5 minutes from the house. Brett was both friendly and responsive throughout and I’d highly recommend, especially to families as it’s move-in ready for both toddlers and young children.

Jeya’s place was amazing. Me and my family had an amazing time. Met my every expectation on top of being a very informative host. Will highly recommend.

I had a very pleasant stay at Lisa’s place. The place was just like it was described. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed to cook my meals. Lisa was very responsive and easy to communicate with. I would definitely stay here again if I'm back in Bowmanville. Thanks again, Lisa!

We rented this beautiful space for my grandsons 1st birthday family get together. The space is comfortable,bright, beautiful, clean, had everything we needed. Our host was wonderful, she was quick to respond with any questions and communicated very well, she was very flexible and friendly. The beds we're all comfortable, the bedrooms were spacious and bright. Overall, would definitely recommend! Would be a great space for a her wedding shower or baby shower, girls/guys weekend. It's only about a 10-minute drive to a lot of restaurants, bars and shopping. Thank you for a great stay, hope to do it again in the future

This is more than just a place to stay but truly an experience with such care and attention taken to every detail. Would love to stay again so we can enjoy for longer.

I totally enjoyed my entire stay at Mafruha & Faraz's place. They are firstly very friendly hosts, who are always easily accessible and ready to help at any time. The home itself is very beautiful- spotlessly clean, peaceful and located in a very serene neighbourhood, with lots of amenities and restaurants around. I personally felt like I was in a 5-Star hotel suite. Their attention to detail is amazing! The pictures online of the place don't do justice to what the home actually looks like. Meherun’s place was great and exactly as presented in the ad. She’s a very accommodating, friendly, trusting, and respectful host. The two of us stayed here for ~3 months, and the basement is spacious, modern, well furnished, well lit, and comes with a separate, private entrance. It has everything you need for long stays - modern appliances, like a large fridge/freezer, stove/oven, dish washer, washer and dryer, and a SmartTV. Two bedrooms, one with a desk I used for work-from-home and the other with a full walk-in closet. Comfy queen beds in both. Bathroom has a large shower, and modern vanity with a fancy Bluetooth mirror. The neighbourhood is nice with a paved trail near by for walking or biking. Close drive to the 401 from Salem, where there’s many stores, including Walmart, Costco, Canadian Tire, Cineplex, and restaurants. We will definitely think of staying here again the next time we’re around.

the place is as pictured, very comfortable for 3 people stay. host was responsive and accommodating. we had a nice stay here. the only small issue we had was that one of us was a light sleeper and got woken up early by noise upstairs, so keep that in consideration if you're a light sleeper. the rest of us were ok.

Susanne’s place was phenomenal. Just as described and the space was spacious. Upon arrival Susanne popped out to greet us. That was a very nice touch believe it or not, Knowing she cared enough to greet us meant so much. Very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Huge kitchen with all appliances. Extra toiletries just in case you left something behind at home was also a nice touch. Highly recommend Susanne’s place for a quiet home away from home in Toronto.

I spent a lovely week at the apartment. The place was spotless, there was a lot of attention to detail...shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, lotion and white fluffy towels in the bathroom (which has great water pressure and an abundance of hot water). The bed was comfortable with nice linens and the work space in the living room was perfect. Thank you for hosting me, I will be back for sure.

Beautiful home with classy decor. Home was cozy but scantily equipped with needed kitchen amenities. Be sure to read the house rules before booking! House rules are unnecessarily excessive, makes it uncomfortable to get that "home away from home" experience, so read the house rules before booking! Host must have had unpleasant situations with guests in the past. The house is gorgeously decorated and pristine, should be featured in a home magazine for real. Overall, we had a great stay!

It is a best and beautiful place to visit

a really nice property nestled away from the main city! felt like we were up north given that it's inside a York region protected forest! the property was very well stocked, really good appliances and extremely clean! Patrick was amazing in his communications: gave clear instructions and was quick in his replies! plenty of space in the property, lots of parking space, backyard space and a really nice pool area! the pool also had plenty of amenities. Definitely recommend Patrick and his Cedar Escape property!

Great Host and Beautiful apartment

Leijun is a very friendly sir with interesting life experience. We had a very impressive and happy chat. The room is very clean and comfortable. He has a lovely and big yard.
