Holiday rentals with a fire pit in White Lake Township

We had to come into town for a funeral and our original house didn't work out. The other house canceled right before we got on the road and we were able to book this at the last minute. These hosts were very accommodating and responsive! They made sure the driveway and sidewalks were cleared from snow and put down extra salt. The house has a beautiful view of the lake, even in the winter, and it was the perfect relaxing spot for me and my family. It is spacious, clean and cozy. Would recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Great privacy, cozy house and we loved the amenities of the fire pit and paddle boat. It was perfect for bringing our little one too, with a crib and toys available! We should have brought binoculars for all the cool birds and ducks we saw. There were even swans on the lake! I wish we could have stayed longer. The nearby town of Holly looks like it came straight out of a hallmark movie! It was so cute and had really amazing antique stores as well as some really great little restaurants we were able to try. I would move to this area in a second if I could!

Every thing was either as pictured or even better than the pictures. It was one of the cleanest, most well stocked and nicely decorated Airbnbs that we have ever stayed at. We had a great time with family. Thanks for everything.

The house is large and very clean. Was perfect for my family to stay to attend the ACDC concert. We were about an 11 min uber from Ford Field. Other reviews are accurate when they say the area is a little run down but the place itself is incredibly nice! Would definitely stay again if we need a large home!

Two colleagues and I enjoyed our stay (nine nights) very much. The house was as described, modern furniture, very bright, clean & well equipped. We even had a nice welcome basket with tasty nibbles and wine and a personal welcome card :-). The location is very good, easy (and safe) to walk to downtown restaurants. The Supermarket around the corner was very convenient, not to forget "Crispellys" bakery :-) As it has been a business stay, we were happy with the individual work space/table in each bedroom. Wifi was very good. Our host Martine was always very friendly & helpful, shared many information and reacted very quickly. While we had some issues with the heating in parts of the house, she arranged immediately for a technician to come, even on Sunday. Shame we could not use the nice and inviting back yard due to the winter/cold, this would have been perfect (so summer is a much better time to enjoy everything in & around the house). We would definitely stay there again.

I really enjoyed my stay at the house, it was in a perfect location for me, super easy to find, and simple easy check in and check out, Mateos's was always available if needed and always very responsive to any messages or communication we had during my stay, he was a great host and I would highly recommend staying here and I would certainly stay again if I'm back in the area and the home is available, especially in the summer with the home having a pool, it is winter now and the home was great it would be over the top with the pool in the summer, a great place to stay!

Great experience! Cute and cozy little spot but close to so many things in Royal Oak. House was clean, local recommendations were helpful, and very easy check in and check out process. We would stay here again!

Cute modern lake (Tiny) house with many amenities. Probably the cleanest rental I’ve stayed in so far. The hosts were accommodating to our needs! Traveling with a baby, this house was perfect for us. Would definitely stay again.

Lisa was a wonderful host and even met us at the door when we arrived to make sure that we were settled in okay and knew how everything worked. She checked in throughout the stay just to make sure everything was okay which I appreciated. I would gladly stay here again as it was the perfect location for when we come to visit Lapeer. The place was very clean and lovely and the appliances were easy to use. Thanks again Lisa!

Our 2-nights stay was amazing! Everything was immaculate when we arrived. So many little delightful gestures and lovely surprises!! Like freshly baked cookies, drinks, snacks and a variety of hot sauces - Allison and Anthony thought of everything possible to make their guest feel happy and comfortable. The deck looking out into the backyard garden was beautiful also. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay ♥️!! Thank you Allison and Anthony for your warm hospitality!!

Our stay at Laura's Alpha flat was short but so lovely! The neighborhood is very nice and convenient to restaurants, etc. We appreciate all the effort and thoughtfulness that has gone into this Airbnb. The beds were super comfy and the space was spotlessly clean, very spacious and well stocked with everything we could possibly need.

We had a pleasant stay, just a couple small quirks to the place we didn't anticipate, maybe I didn't read the listing close enough, but host was responsive and friendly. Perks were it's a spacious stay and has a comfortable bed. TV and fireplace are nice. Quirks are is a first floor apartment complex with a tenant above and there were banging noises above that kept waking us up. Host responded they'd ask the neighbor to keep down the noise, a great option, however the noise kept happening seemingly every time we tried to sleep. Bath towels are located under the bed in a plastic drawer, which isn't correct from the description given "in dresser" and there were no towels in the bathroom initially, which really confused us. The shower is well water based and has a horrible odor, not much the host can do about this but it made showering quite uncomfortable. I still rated 5 stars due to these being minor quirks, overall the stay was peaceful.

My husband and I were looking for accommodation close to my best friend's wedding venue and home when we discovered Michael and Patti's rental. The place was easy to find, comfortable, and they were wonderful hosts. The mornings were beautiful and peaceful, filled with the sounds of birds. I would definitely book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone.

We loved our stay at Annie's home! The unit was clean, spacious, comfortable and well-appointed. The location is convenient to the stadium and quiet. Having parking was a plus. Annie was friendly, thoughtful and welcoming. Easily recommend! Thanks for a great stay.

My sister and I had a peaceful long weekend at Fish Tales. It was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the lake. It was fun to take the kayaks out and just RELAX. The cottage was a short drive to the swim race location at Half Moon lake that we were visiting for. If you are looking for a peaceful spot with beautiful views this is for you,

My brothers and I with our significant others always get together for a weekend at the Renaissance Festival in Holly and this was literally the perfect cabin for us - close enough that we could go to and from if we needed a break during our long days at the Faire and peaceful enough at night to come back to and relax or play games like we love to do together. Plenty of space that we could all have beds and felt cozy. The lake is beautiful this time of year and even was warm enough that we could have swam after if we wanted or weren’t warn out from our long days. Parking was easy to figure out even with four vehicles. Host was responsive and super helpful and even allowed us to check in early when we realized that we would rather all drive in together last second. (Whoops! Poor planning on my part.) There was even provided water which was lovely as well, and a really nice touch when it comes to well water! Thank you so much and we will be back!

Our stay was wonderful! I stayed at the cabin for the weekend with friends. We were competing in a horse show in the area and were gone most of the day but I wish we had more time to spend at the campground. The area was beautiful and peaceful by a lake. I would have loved to just spend the entire weekend there and hope to go back with family in the future. There was a lot to do with great amenities. You could go out on the lake with paddle boats or go hiking. The cabin that we stayed in was a good size for four people. We had a great time and would recommend.

Could not have been happier with our stay here. Anne has created and maintained a very special feeling of place in this cottage. We enjoyed every minute of being here, even jumped in the lake! The cottage intuitively resets your way of living, if even for just a few days. Life slows down…sleep is deeper. The crickets louder. There is a grocery store less than ten minutes away (and Instacart can get you a Target run as well) The kitchen is so nice to cook in, and believe me, you won’t want to leave this place for dinner. We cancelled reservations because we wanted to stay in more. Best sink ever for dishes. Quiet, Simple, Morning and Afternoon Light, Long Stares at the water. Sounds of nature. Home cooked meals. Best dirt roads with wildflowers nearby if you need just one other thing to do. If your life needs this, do that here in this cottage.

The boathouse was a cozy, comfortable place for our visit with family in Detroit. Check-in and -out was easy, and Jerald’s communication was very helpful and clear. So much thought went into the decor, it was fun just looking at the books and art. The neighborhood and especially the boathouse felt safe, and there was a lot of easy parking on the street. It made for an easy and convenient spot to meet up with our family to head out for lunch. The bed was super comfy, the bathroom was beautiful, and the kitchen had everything you could think of needing. It was cold out, but with warmer weather, the outdoor amenities would have been a lot of fun. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely stay again and suggest it to other family members who may plan visit to the area. Loved it!

Perfect spot for my mom & I to stay while we visited family in the area. We loved the cozy-chic cabin vibe. The decor was beautiful and SO COMFORTABLE, from the couch to the beds. Well-appointed kitchen for all our needs & we appreciated the Keurig. It’s very quiet, and the skylights are amazing. We took advantage of the nearby hiking trail on a frosty morning - perfect start to the day. When I had a couple questions, Annalisa was very quick to respond. We miss the Hideaway already and hope to visit again!!

I must say I didn’t get to stay the full time I intended due to a small mishap on my end and when I say Brady was so nice and helpful and fully understanding even refunded me because I couldn’t stay (once again for something on my end) this really restored my hope in humanity! Very professional, kind and easy to communicate with. Would literally respond in seconds when I messaged! I’m Definitely going to book in the summer sometime.
