Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Wijdemeren

Two years ago, during a bike ride along the Vecht, we stood at the drawbridge in Loenen aan de Vecht: “ wow, you will live here!” At the time, we didn't know that we were able to experience it for almost a week two years later. Edward's house is a particularly cozy and characteristic house near the bridge on the Vecht. You can enjoy all the boats sailing by for hours on the bench. The house is comfortable, everything is present. Well-equipped kitchen, good beds, cozy decor. The garden is a living space in itself. The immediate surroundings resembles an open-air museum. There is plenty to do, cycling, hiking and of course sailing. Edward responds quickly and has good tips for things to do and where to eat. We've taken advantage of that. We had a great time. Recommended.

Very nice and quiet place. More than enough room for our family of five. About half an hour from Amsterdam. Having a car is a must. All in all, we had a great time.

The place is exactly like in the pictures - very cozy and located in beautiful town close to Amsterdam. Karline was super responsive and accomodating, which helped us a lot due to hectic schedule. Fully recommended!

A wonderful place and a wonderful house. Everything was clean and tidy when we went. The view is also magnificent. About half an hour drive to Amsterdam centre. There are markets where you can find everything 5 minutes away. The owner of the house takes care of any problems that may arise very quickly. I would love to come in the summer.

It was wonderful to have this roomy appartment just next to the cows, with a view of the cows from the kitchen and one of the bathrooms. A peaceful place between a canal and a meadow, close to Amsterdam.

It was very comfortable and clean- very friendly and fast communication! Was a pleasure.

Perfect! The apartment is really beautiful and It has everything I needed. Communication with the host was super easy and Masha has been also very helpful. The area and the neighborhood are quiet but you still can find everything you need from supermarkets to any kind of restaurants and bars or shops. Also, there are LOTS of different trams or buses taking you to te city center (literally 18 minutes to Dam Square) or wherever you need. There Is also a train station 10 minutes walking from the house and It has been really helpful when I went to Utrecht and Rotterdam without having to go back to Centraal Station. A very nice park Is located just 5 minutes walking. This Is definitely the best area I've been staying in Amsterdam and I will definitely come back. Masha apartment Is recommended!!! Jan Peter's place is lovely. The neighbourhood is wonderful and some good restaurants around. the house itself was very convenient and neat.

10000/10 stay at Rachel’s place! Even with my last minute booking, Rachel still accommodated me. It was comfortable, clean, perfectly located, fully equipped with everything plus more. I highly recommend to anyone visiting the Netherlands. The trains and buses are walking distance so you can reach anymore in a great amount of time! Thank you Rachel!

We spent a few very nice days in Naarden, a pretty, quiet place. The apartment is totally cozy, nicely decorated and you immediately feel comfortable. Ilse, the host is always friendly and you can always reach out to her with questions. We would come back again! :)

Large house with lots of space, directly on the water and a short walk to Abcoude. Easy communication and check in.

Lovely location; the owner’s family live next door and are very welcoming and friendly! Wander Island is a really good restaurant. Lake is wonderful. Only 30 mins from Amsterdam by Park and Ride.

We had an amazing stay at Sonja’s place. Everything was just perfect. The location was excellent. The neighbourhood is beautiful. A row of houses with the canal as the backyard. Absolute peace and quiet and extremely secure. It’s a 4 minute walk to the tram station where there’s a tram every 10 min to the Central Station. It just takes 10 minutes to reach Central Station. The living area and kitchen are brilliant with all necessary equipments. The backyard is brilliant with an easy access to the canal. We didn’t use the pizza oven and the barbecue but I reckon they would be great when used. There are three bedrooms on the first floor and the view from the open space from there is lovely. The bathroom is huge and has a sun roof. Overall a brilliant experience. Sonja was very responsive and left a detailed note on how things work. We (2 adults and 2 kids) loved the stay and will again stay there in a heartbeat.

Our family of four had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay in this gorgeous house. The location was quiet and scenic as well as extremely convenient to historic Utrecht, a pretty canal walk, bakeries, grocery store, restaurants, and public transportation. Pim and Cynthia were very responsive, lent us a bike, and had great recommendations. Highly recommend!
