Holiday rentals with lake access in Xonrupt-Longemer

We had a lovely stay despite the mixed weather that didn't stop us from enjoying the walks in an authentic and charming nature even in winter. Our hosts were very concerned about our well-being and we communicated with them easily throughout our stay. Quiet is guaranteed in this well-located rental, close to the small town of Masevaux offering all the necessary services. The quick access to the balloon of Alsace by a picturesque road allows you to access a panorama not to be missed.

We booked this place to benefit from facilities that allowed us to enjoy a few days of relaxation even in case of bad weather (Nordic bath, hot tub, infrared sauna and wood fire). The Nordic bath is free access, what could be more pleasant to relax at night and enjoy the calm of the place. Gérard is very welcoming, his well-maintained accommodation and everything is thought out to make us feel at home, with or without children: beds made on arrival, heated house, tissue and bottle of water at the foot of the bed, shower gel, shampoo, toilet paper, linens, road maps and tourist books, some DVDs, books and children's games. The house on 3 levels allows everyone to have their own space (5 bedrooms, 3 showers, 1 bathtub and 3 toilets). We plan to come back in the summer this time to discover the region in a whole new way.

The host is very friendly. He helped us to burn the fireplace in advance every day. It was very warm and comfortable when we came home every day. The house is very new and spacious. It was unforgettable.

Beautiful chalet in beautiful location. Clean and spacious for a family of 4. Hot tub is great. The chalet is well equipped. We traveled from the UK and arrived into some unusually heavy snow fall, road access to the chalet is steep and we slid around eventually had to use our snow chains, so be aware of that if going in winter with no snow tyres and two wheel drive. Would stay again. Carlos helpful, despite not speaking English and we don’t speak French but made it work.

Beautiful house, very well arranged with taste. Bright. Very well placed compared to the city center and lake. The hot tub and arcade kiosk were successful with children...and parents! The bedding is great. And above all a big thank you to Emilie for her welcome and sympathy.

We had a great time at Thierry's place with the bonus, the sun that was at the rendezvous. We were very well received and the listing was as described. It is very well equipped, clean and the sauna is very nice. The accommodation is located close to the lake, quiet and in a very soothing environment. The large terrace allows you to make the most of the outdoors and the kids loved playing outside. We'll be happy to go back!

Great stay at Hugo's place. Listing as described and functional. Quiet location and beautiful mountain views from the bedrooms. Comfortable bedding, which is rare enough to be highlighted. Accommodation close to different activities: hiking, skiing ... Hugo is very welcoming, attentive and recommended a great restaurant. We'll be happy to go back! 😉

We had a great stay! Everything was as described. The apartment is very clean and is very well located, close to beautiful hiking santiers and not far from ski stays. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend this listing!

We spent 3 nights quietly ,in a beautiful environment overlooking the pond and mountains . The owners had given us all the useful information in advance. We did very nice hikes close to the accommodation . There is everything on site ( super u, bakery ,bar/tobacco...) And we took the opportunity to eat barbecue on this beautiful grounds .

Beautiful cottage, very quiet location, near a lake. The house has every comfort, and except for the somewhat steep stairs, everything is very practical and cozily furnished. The garden is large and has a beautiful view of one of the thousand lakes. The restaurant within walking distance is recommended. Beautiful region for walks, nature and tranquility. Hermine was proactive and very friendly in communication, everything was clear. In short: an ideal holiday address!

If you are looking for a quiet place out in nature with enough space for several families, the cottage is perfect. Now that the hot-tube is installed - it’s even better. And Samuel kindly changed the water as the kids went in there with dirty feet. Inside the kids shouldn’t play too loudly, which sometimes isn’t easy - but there is lots of space outside!! We would book it again :)

Nicolas is an extremely kind host, accessible and attentive in a beautiful setting. Very good night in an exotic setting where we were able to disconnect! Thank you and I hope to see you soon!

I’d love to write this in French, but that would take too long! However it would be well worth the effort as this place was OUTSTANDING! We visited with another family, in total two couples and 6 boys from the age of 6-16 and the gite delivered everything you could hope for! The kitchen was well equipped to cook for a large group and bake whatever you like. The sauna was impeccably done with lots of thought of the layout, the main living room was as lovely as the photos indicate and every bedroom was thought through carefully to the last picture and lamp. The outdoor area was spacious, the barbecues large and spotless, the treehouse a dream even on rainy days to get the kids out and the house quiet. There is nothing I can think of that should have been done differently, we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay despite the weather being slightly damp. In addition Michel and Muriel were super responsive and helped us with any request we had. I can only recommend them warmly!

Perfect, a beautiful weekend in a beautiful cottage that's very well equipped, even better than in the description, with beautiful decor, friendly and available hosts... I look forward to returning on sunny days with my tribe, children and grandchildren...
